After an insulting press release from FOX News, Donald Trump has announced that he will not be participating in the Iowa Fox News debate and instead will host a fundraiser for wounded warriors. The pundit head are spinning. Morning Joe did a good job. Everyone is predicting Trump’s demise. They’re saying if he can’t take Megyn Kelly then he’s a wimp.
I DON’T THINK THERE WAS ANY DOUBT THAT THE PRE DEBATE HYPE WAS TO BOOST RATINGS... HE FULLY INTENDED TO SHOW..HIS SON SAID SO YESTERDAY...
THE ISSUE IS TWO FOLD...
1. The despicable press release the Fox put out mocking him...
2. Trump finds out that they were going to set him up with the Muslim activist which would have been a no win for him, as she would have done the Jorge Ramos thing.

Forget her! Maybe Trump should accept Cruz’s challenge to a one-on-one debate, but not until after this next event on Fox.

I love it. By doing this Trump will be doing a favor for this election and all candidates in the future. He’s castrated the media and is making it look completely impotent. The media has been dictating everything in every election for decades — maybe centuries — and now they’re weak.
Once the pesky and harmful MSM is out of the way, maybe campaigns can be issue based.

I just watched the video. The questions were good questions ; some I have asked. Trump gave good answers, 2 of which I disagreed with.
I fail to see why anyone can say Bret Baier set Trump up for anything. Big boy questions. Big boy answers.
My guess is Baier knew Trump was going to skip debate which is why he asked if they will see him at the debate. I fail to see anything inappropriate because of the “Should I stay or Should I go” Twitter poll.
I can’t find fault in the interview on either side.
Bret nor anyone at Fox thought Trump would leave the debate. He asked because he thought Trump was just trying for headlines and would be there after he milked the media some more. That didn’t turn out to be the case.
I had respect for Bret before his aim was Trump. Levin is for Cruz because of family involvement. What does Bret have in this fight...he’s sure made it personal.
For me? I am not a typical Trump voter. I am a fighter and I have wanted someone to stop obama.. he’s a threat to our liberties, our way of life and our country. He’s done so much damage and no one in the Washington establishment group, has stopped him. They don’t even try. Trump comes along and wants to do that fighting for us... and they have come down on him like a ton of bricks.
I don’t care who Trump was before... if he tears down that power grid that is taking our way of life and destroying it.. I’m in his corner. This is not normal times and it calls for something or someone who defies the normal and the media.
I’ll stand up for the man who is being crucified because he’s messing with their power positions. I’ll stand up for the man who has the guts to defy their power positions.
All I am saying is there was no setup in this interview. It was a good interview on both sides.
