So far, I have never known Rush to ...totally lie, politically. He has shaded the truth, downplayed things, left things unsaid. But never lied.
To my mind, this episode may be his biggest test.
Gonna be...interesting to hear Rush’s take on this tomorrow, given his relationship with Ailes, and also given the details of the ambush (see for example on Breitbart.com) including a *Muslim apologist*; and teaming up with the Silicon Valley firm Google (a big fan of H1Bs and therefore laxity in borders and all that... as well as being gigantic libs).
So he had on Tucker Carlson and Geraldo and NONE OF THEM SAID ANYTHING ABOUT MUSLIM APOLOGIST and teaming up with Google at debate. How disingenuous or they did not know—all they could say was how wrong it was for Trump to dis Fox.
Fox is going down the drain!
yeah real fair and balanced to ambush Trump with a Muzzie Trump hating activist as one of the guest questioners at the Thursday debate.. Wonder if Bret will ask the group Thursday if there is anybody on stage who will not support the eventual nominee whomever it might be?
They really are “faux news”. I wish I hadn’t wasted so much time watching them but at least I’ve stopped now.
This is life after FAUX!
One thing you won't hear from him is anything about GOOGLE or the Muslim plant...guaranteed.
I too was interested in hearing Rush and I think he told it 100% truthfully. Trump DOESN’T play by the rules. He rewrites the rules as he goes. The political class, including Cruz, is still playing within these rules.
As Rush said, Trump will own the debate in his sleep. Judging by how he stays on top of every single news cycle, I’d say he owns the entire media in his sleep.
Cruz made a terrible strategic mistake by not immediately also walking out. Either he will be given “attaboys” by all the GOPe candidates (the kiss of death)-—which I really don’t think they’d do, because those Decepticons are way to selfish-—or he will take Trump’s place as the focus of all attacks and THAT will be Tweeted and reported like crazy. But even if he does well, it won’t help him, because viewership will be way down and “nobody will hear.” It was dumb of him and his campaign people not to walk immediately and say, “Don has said some mean things about me, but in this case, he’s right.” His poll #s would have gone up immediately.
