Fox mocks Trump as war of words escalates [Trump drew first blood]
Washington Examiner ^ | 1/26/2016 | T. Becket Adams

Fox News publicly mocked Republican frontrunner Donald Trump Tuesday for arguing that Megyn Kelly shouldn't be allowed to moderate the next GOP debate.

Trump released a video on social media early Tuesday morning in which he asked his supporters if he should bother showing up for the debate given that Kelly is scheduled to moderate.

[Trump Tweet here: Should I do the #GOPdebate? https://www.instagram.com/p/BBAvs0rmheW/ 1:05 PM - 26 Jan 2016 Yes No]

"Megyn Kelly is really biased against me," Trump said in the video. "She knows that. I know that. Everybody knows that. Do you really think she can be fair at a debate?"

“he needs Fox more than Fox needs him”

I think you got that backwards.

Trump has multiple networks to choose from.

A CNN panel was just laughing their asses off on live tv about the mess Fox got itself in.

They will happily host the Trump event during the debate.

I'm going to interject a thought here:

What is wrong with all of the wannabees? This is a perfect opportunity for them to stop their whining about Trump getting all of the attention, and step up. Let's see who excels when Trump isn't on the stage. Maybe one of them has VP potential.

Not one of them has the cunning to spin this as something they welcome.

I call BS on that. FOX attempts to call themselves a right wing alternative news source. That fairytale was exposed in the first FOX debate and many of us never tuned in again. Megyn and her NR buddies can all go sit in the FAIL corner Thursday night.

Americans in general, and the owned and biased media, are not used to an OPEN presidential race where a candidate can basically say, without big financial debt, what they want.

Looking at reality in this particular instance, FOX made a huge mistake by attacking Trump the first time thinking they were going to successfully carry out some character assassination for Roger Ailes and his establishment friends. Now it is backfiring, giving Trump the ammo he needs to show them for what they are. I would agree with MANY others that the so-called debates are anything but honest attempts to gain important information — but political “tools” for the ruling class to play with.

Does Fox seriously think we are all going to suddenly change our minds and side with them, part of the LSM???

Is there nobody on the board at Fox or at the top or even at the bottom that has an ounce of sense?

Do they not get yet what the whole Trump phenomenon is about?

It’s in large part BECAUSE OF THEM.

In the past week I’ve learned that National Review is the bad guy, Fox News is the bad guy, Glenn Beck is the bad guy, Rick Perry is the bad guy, conservative Ted Cruz is the bad guy. I’m sure I’ve missed a few republican, conservative bad guys.

Isn’t Trump supposed to aim in the other direction?

“Trump needs to be careful, he needs Fox more than Fox needs him. The campaign is a long, long road.”

No, he does not.

His stock in trade is bashing the media cartel. The more he bashes them, the more he gains voters.
