We must be “who we are” It is important to understand “who we are” as nation. We excluded Chinese , by law from 1870 until 1943-— ALL CHINESE. Not only did we stop all Japanese, German and Italian immigration during and after WWII but we dead stopped Chinese for 75 years!! as being in our national interest, from any immigration into this country. Yes and no, in a sense.
There are Muslim Masons; I used to know one. (He was Iranian, no less.)
That said, fundamentalist Islam does not consider Freemasonry acceptable, any more than (and for the same basic reasons as) strict Catholicism. The Iranian Masonic lodges were suppressed or disbanded following the rise of Khomeini, though I seem to recall that some of them exist “in exile” in other countries.
Why the Masons? Heck, with their Islamic (Shriner) imagery and rites, I’d imagine the Muslims would be thinking they were allies. But then, nobody ever said Muslims were very bright...

I would really like to know the “for whatever reason” part of your comment.
Political correctness just does not explain it - it is much more sinister than that but I can’t figure it out because the thinking must be so far outside a normal universe of thought that I can’t get there.
Obviously, both parties are in on it (like everything that is happening in this country right now) otherwise there would be some kind of resistance. I’m not counting the 2016 Pres candidates - they’ll say anything - I’m talking about the ones that are in a position to do something about it and DON’T.
