An audience member who attended CNNâs Monday night town hall for Democratic presidential candidates appeared to unintentionally admit that CNN wrote questions beforehand for audience members to ask the candidates.
The televised forum was hosted by Drake University and the Iowa Democratic Party and took place one week before Iowa voters head to the caucuses as the first state to help determine the primary. It was a chance for potential voters to ask the Democratic candidates questions to help determine their choice this Monday.
One audience member named Brett Rosenberg began to ask a question to Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton but initially misspoke.
âSecretary Sanders ⦠Clinton ⦠Sorry,â Rosenberg began.
âThatâs okay,â Clinton responded.
The audience laughed at the mistake while Rosenberg said with an embarrassed smile, âI can see why they gave you this question. I just wanted to know which of our previous presidents has inspired you most and why.â

All scripted to “manufacture consent”.
That is the “Progressive way”.
Progressives have never believed in the consent of the governed. It has always been the rule of the elite.
As Rush says “How can we fool them today?”
News agencies planting questions, and audience participants who are willing to ask other peoples questions, is how we get stupid questions like ‘Boxers or Briefs?’
They also gave the questions to their fellow Marxists.
Pray America wakes
If Hillary makes it to November....will she be answering boxers or briefs?
Listen carefully. The supposed questioner says "I see why they gave you this question"
And his text to his family said: “watch the Townhall tonight! I’ll be on asking a question of Secretary Sanders.
STIKE that, Secretary Clinton.
And it has nothing to do with that goof-ball, Ben Ghazi.”
Larry Nichols theory is Hillary must play underdog role. How do you underplay Sanders? NY Times broke the Email server story. Trust them? What about her Bohemian Club. Vince Foster murder is her real vulnerability. Until then, HRC is a victim and her supporters see no difference between her and every other corrupt politician. HRC has all the money.
He then says "Which of the presidents has inspired you the most and why?"
I disagree.
I thought what he meant was that he had been told he would be presenting HIS QUESTION to HILLARY.
What doesn’t make sense is why he thought that HIS QUESTION was especially applicable to Hillary. It seems such a ‘general’ question.
Also, I have no doubt that she was ‘informed’ of what the question would be.
Still, I don’t think what he said is proof HE DIDN’T WRITE the QUESTION.
Only the fact that CNN tried to scrub his odd statement gives any credence at all to the implication that CNN wrote it, not him.
“I see why they gave you this question”
Can somebody even explain to me why that statement by the young man makes any sense whatsoever ?
You have to admit, the kid is consistent.
The words “I see why they gave you this question” were scrubbed from CNN’s version of the debate, and only included in the YOUTUBE video versions.
Did you tune in to this Town Hall? I did for the very beginning as the cameras panned the audience and introduced Cuomo. It was soooo strange — the audience all looked like mannequins: Not a smile, not a movement just stone-like staring at the stage. Very strange.
This is what Lenin thought "New Soviet Man" would be like.
“This is what Lenin thought “New Soviet Man” would be like.”
Perfect description. In a crowd that size you’d see someone talking with their neighbor, or a cough here and there, a smirk or a grin. Nothing - blank faces staring - hypnotized.
Compare to our rallies - smiling, happy, sometimes a prayer - always joy.
Another reporterette in a row boat.
LOL!!! That makes me laugh every time I think about her!!
They would’ve NEVER called on him to present “his question” otherwise.
