This will be a continuous LIVE THREAD of Donald Trump's two Iowa rallys today. The first will be in Marshalltown, IA @ 5:00 (CST) @ Marshalltown Community School District - Roundhouse Gymnasium.
The second in Iowa City at 7:00 (CST) @ the University of Iowa Field House.
You should be able access both Live Threads at the same URL, but other links will be posted here before and during the events.
Many times the best feed is the HD one from FOX10 Phoenix.
Is Sheriff Joe supposed to be in attendance tonight? I like him. So brave.

When you talked about the old guard coming around - Bob Doyle just did recently and Trump praised Bob and his wife, Elizabeth, in a recent speech.
IMHO the Gang of 22 and the lobbyists and others are scared to death of Trump because they’ll lose influence and most important to them big dollars. Kraut and a few others have started to come around (e.g., not so negative to him as they were previously). I think some more will in time and some will continue to bash.
I agree about Beck - I’ve basically been ignoring him; and, while I thought about watching Cruz’ speech the other day, I just couldn’t handle listening to/watching Beck any more.
I agree that Trump is hip, but IMHO I think it’s more than that - he doesn’t talk down to the people or lecture them or sound like a politician - he’s speaking WITH us and seems to be HEARING and understanding and feeling our anger and frustrations, which none of the others are doing (though some on Bernie’s side seem to think he is doing so - can’t say, haven’t really listened to him, though I think perhaps that the people (including a lot of college kids)
Sherriff Joe is great! So is Sherriff David Clarke (sp), who I believe is a Dem, but has been very vocal on Hannity and Greta and I think he’s great. I seem to recall seeing and hearing him on TV at CPAC, so maybe he’s coming around to the “right” side.

Wow Jenny - you’re working on sw algorithms. I’ve read your posts and know you’re smart, but holy cow! And, this is coming from someone who has worked in the tech industry for many years - while I’m not a techie, I’ve worked with many. Kudos to you on a very tough undertaking!
BTW - I heard that Microsoft has developed software for the Iowa caucuses so that they can input results right away and results will be calculated. Instead of waiting for a few weeks for results, we should have them in a few hours.

Wow. I don’t know. The Sheriff is big with conservatives, but if supports Trump, they might turn on him, like we’ve turned Beck, although The Sheriff out there on the trenches.

Well, I think ME Gun will need to wipe that smug smirk off her face before too long - she’s trying to be too cute by half.
I used to watch her and think she was somewhat fair. After that first debate debacle I knew she was gunning for Trump and has been trying to do so ever since on and off (OK, I haven’t been like a lot of FReepers and haven’t totally quit watching her - I flip her on and off during the program). I saw a blip of the program the other night with some of the Gang of 22. Won’t be flipping to her show and her despicable self any longer. And as an aside, it’s winter and freezing in NY - do we really need to wear sleeveless tops - who does she think she is - Moochelle?
I had 3 qtrs of Stats in undergrad and 2 qters in Grad school so I know just enough to be dangerous.

Yes, but he’s a huge border guy, and he’s not giving them teddy bears and a giant hug. That’s what did it for me with Beck, I’m not into the act of love upon entry. People have to come legally!!!

I quit listening to Rush a few years ago (though I still often go to his site and read some of the transcripts and/or read the threads here). I got really tired of him spending 1/2-1 hour or more espousing about Apple products and sent him an email (it was nice) on same (though never heard back). Is he a conservative talk show host or a salesperson for Apple?
