This is the moment a girl bursts into tears from sheer excitement when she discovers she will see Donald Trump at a rally.
Sounds like she might be one of our FR posters.

It’s good for American children to have slavish emotional devotion to politicians. Creates a nice, healthy climate for authoritarianism and totalitarianism.

“This is the moment a girl bursts into tears from sheer excitement when she discovers she will see Donald Trump at a rally. The nine-year-old girl from Maine...”
Good friggin grief. Where have we seen or heard this sort of ridiculousness before.

Is Trump calling for giving 9 year old the vote?
Promising to ban Broccoli and spinach with an executive order and make dessert an official meal?

This kind of hero-worship/idolatry is like what Obama got.
It is indicative that Trump will win, just like Obama did.
But it is still weird.
No politician is worthy of such a reaction.

The girl is so SWEET. And bless that family for keeping her involved in family discussions -— more parents should do the same.

Maybe this is a little girl whose family is politically active and includes her. Not as some suggest like the school indoctrinated Obama kids. I remember by grandson when he was telling his teacher that “ he’s the liar” when asked who a picture of Clinton was. Learned it from listening to his parents discuss the impeachment.

When I was 6 years old Pres. Kennedy was killed. I vaguley knew who he was but I’m sure it was meaningless to me. I did know that all the adults were very solemn and we got off school because of it. Anyway, when they showed on TV who was going too now be President, Johnson, I burst into tears and said He can’t be President, he’s too fat.
This has nothing to do with the little girl and all to do with her parents. They have made her excited about it, she really has know clue why.
