The establishment R’s helped Trump out. They made the case Trump isn’t an ideologue conservative and the establishment opposes him. That just helps Trump.

They really don’t ‘get it.’

Trump is for cutting government and destroying the status quo.

Cruz comes closest to that as an existing Senator also fighting against the status quo.

More of the same vs. change. That’s the decision to voters in every election.

Trump is the vote for greatest change from our status quo.

Is it that difficult to type some text? I don’t care to spend 35 minutes listening to someone talk because he was too lazy to type out his thoughts.

Re Trump ‘self serving.’

Trump did a job to complete a skating rink in New York - at no profit to help New York out.

It’s all described in Art of the Deal.

Any college kid could rebut Sowell’s article. Good sign he wasn’t thinking when he wrote it, but instead was blinded by Trump hate.

Sowell is part of the Republican establishment.

ALL Republicans benefit by Trump pushing the debate to the right. Instead of a million Muslims being brought in each year (what we do now), Trump says bring in none.

Trump has reframed all of American politics.

But... it’s good NR and other Republicans bash Trump. It helps Trump among working class whites and blacks.

Never heard of Stefan Molyneux. On the other hand I have been familiar with Thomas Sowell for years. His analysis of the Trump issue is brilliant.

Thanks for posting the video.

Stefan Molyneux does a good job of destroying the argument made by Thomas Sowell

It is hard to rebut Sowell. See you found someone. Sowell is dead on. His article should be read by all.

As one who truly has not decided between Trump and Cruz, I can sit back and observe. What I see is people hardening their positions for one or the other. What I fear is that those positions will become so hardened that the Establishment wins. Not just the GOP Establishment (which really is quite insignificant), but the Globalists - George Soros and his ilk - who want a New World Order ruled by them.

The Establishment is fomenting and enjoying the bitterness and name calling. We are being divided, the easier to conquer. If you think its bad now, wait until the general election. A CW2 will have been fought and lost IF we don’t stop playing their game and unite against our real enemies. Discuss, not hate.

Sowell is a respected intellectual conservative.

Even though Trump is “really really really really smart” and “really really really really rich”(through unethcial means),

I’ll stick with Sowell. He has no axe to grind. He speaks from pure principle.

Yes, Trump Voters, there are PRINCPLES. Maybe you have heard of them. Doubt it though. Reality TV and all.

The emotion trumping the “facts” is anger; anger at the GOPe for continuously lying to constituents.

I’ll support a truth teller every time over the party liars. At least with Trump we MIGHT have an honest candidate, but with the establishment candidate we KNOW they are lying, we KNOW they will give us 4-8 more years of bigger government, greater debt, & continued decline of our country.

The beauty of the Trump candidacy is that, as a populist, he is dependent on the people to support his presidency. If he loses the confidence of the people he will have no chance at a 2nd term.

Trump represents democracy. The GOPe represents plutocracy.

Just wondering, would Mr. Sowell get as much notoriety if he were white?

Thomas Sowell is my favorite political author from the 80’s. I learned a lot from him on race and free enterprise.

I don’t get why he’s shilling like this with the uniparty against Trump. It is totally out of character for him. I’m looking the other way until the waaabulance arrives and cleans up the mess.

Good post. : )
