Here we go again. Donald Trump will speak Sunday, January 24, 2016 in Muscatine, IA at Muscatine High School at 12:00 PM CST. I will post additional Live Feeds.
Mr. Trump will be attending church services this morning at New Hope Christian Church in Marshall Town, IA. I think it would be over the top for the media to be filming this.
Mr. Trump will do TV shows via phone today as well:
CBSâ âFace the Nationâ: Trump will call into the show to gauge his chances in the Iowa caucus, with Sanders speaking afterwards.
NBCâs âMeet the Pressâ: Clinton rounds out the day with an appearance on the program, followed by Sanders, Trump and former Defense secretary Robert Gates.
Muscatine is one of the prettier cities on the Mississippi River.
It's been said that NO OTHER town or city in the United States is named Muscatine.
HON office furniture is headquartered here, but it's claim to fame in the cultural history of things is Scot Halpin.
For ten points, does anyone know who Scot Halpin was? (Answer is below).
Iowa GOP Chairman Jeff Kaufmann introduced Donald Trump in Muscatine this morning, I’m told. Two high profile Iowa intros in 2 days
These folks know Beck is feeling the Bern :-/
Another great rally. Missed the thread since hubby walked by, sat down and listened to the rally with me. :) He is suddenly interested in politics after years of totally ignoring it. (He will be 80 in Feb.)
He done good!
Very energetic rally!
And in the Fox poll, Trump has a 11% lead over Cruz.
Trump 34% v. Cruz 23%. ;-)
If someone were determined to take down the dishonest press then Trumps the star you hitch your wagon to. And this is probably his once in a lifetime chance to make it happen so yeah many people will now see all those years of rhetoric by Bozell as empty.
as far as anchor babies being citizens ir not it is not unheard of for something to be Constitutionally questioned and then debated and then who knows. It is a fair question to raise. He’s entitled to ask it and people can poopoo it as they like. We shall see if anything will come of it but Trump has shown he’s willing to question any and all assumptions and i like that.
Mine was listening, too!
LOL
He loves to listen to Trump rallies!
(He will be 80 in Feb.)
A great milestone!
Hope he has a wonderful party!
Mine will be 65 in March!
You’re bad. I think she was banned from here, and can’t answer. That’s not right. We want her back. Please let ETL back.
Yes draw a few lines in the sand !
Elderly Trump Lover?
The same CBS article has a segment on "Cruz responds to Trump's comments about citizenship." There are no Cruz remarks, but there is this (birthers are kooks) contention:
Large majorities in all three states don't think Cruz's birthplace is a serious issue, and eight in 10 say Trump's New York roots don't matter to them.
Damn right C98!
I liked the line he said a few minutes ago about the mandate.
Iowa voters have a chance this year to get it right.
Wow!
I’ve heard of people in New York, who have never voted. Young people who are coming out for Trump.
After seeing Cruz in jeans and work boots yesterday, I appreciate Trump always wearing a suit and tie. It shows respect for the audience.
And unlike O will show respect for the office
It is amazing isn’t it? :)
Trump has intimidated the press that they can’t touch him.
Obama did the same thing, so any mention of his Birth Certficate he and his press secretary could bran the person as a Kook. Right out of the Alinsky play book.
CPAN is still covering the Trump with the crowd and has the mike on for all the comments being said.
Yeah. I noticed that with Jeb Bush too. HIs senior cut jeans were probably dry cleaned. And the plaid shirt is right out of the box, starched.
Measured as a function of having any effect, I agree. Bozell's insights have had no effect. The press is as dishonest as ever, and the public is as gullible as ever. And I also agree that as a "press is a liar" advocate, Trump is head and shoulders superior to Bozell.
Trump is correct on the anchor baby question. It's about time that conversation be conducted in a place where it changes policy, instead of academic/press settings.
