Outstanding.

WOW. What a law. Liberals are having apoplectic Fits. Will the Governor sign it if it gets to his desk? A blueprint for America.
yes, Yes, YES!
Good. If you want to advertise your business as a gun free zone you should be held liable if it is not.
Haslam is an anti-gun RINO, not a chance.
..Haslam is an anti-gun RINO, not a chance...
Votes there to override veto?
I would say this is commonsense legislation.
BINGO!!!
Makes perfect sense. You prevent me from protecting myself and I get attacked and injured, you must be liable.
The legislation signed by Gov. Walker in Wisconsin has that provision included, as well.
We just had an incident where a local resident attended a televised Board Meeting and he was carrying. Someone noticed and the Mayor freaked...and said it was a gun free zone (which it wasn't) and so now the Mayor he wants to make it a gun free zone.
Think you meant “...should be held liable.” (not “...should be held liable if it is not.”)
We should turn this into a national movement, state by state!
GO TN!!
“The legislation signed by Gov. Walker in Wisconsin has that provision included, as well.”
It is similar, but not so clearly worded. It directly grants immunity from lawsuit for owners who do not ban people from carrying on their property.
Haslam is an anti-gun RINO, not a chance.

“and while on any property the permit holder is required to traverse in order to travel to and from the location where the permit holder’s firearm is stored.”
I don’t think that part is going to hold up.
One of my grandmothers was born in Tennessee, and later an alternate delegate at a GOP convention from Colorado. She is looking down and smiling.
“Will the Governor sign it if it gets to his desk?”
Great question. Haslam is cut out of the same squish/pantywaist mold as Lamar Alexander and Bob Corker.
