RE: Why would a natural born American citizen have to renounce his Canadian citizenship? Isn’t that a little weird?

Why? He has no control over Canadian law, or the circumstances of his birth.

“A Monmouth University poll released Wednesday found more than a third of Republican voters question Cruz’s eligibility to be president, and a Fox News poll released Friday found 10% of Republican primary voters say the fact Cruz was born outside the U.S. makes them less likely to vote for him.”

That goes up there with “trump has peaked” as the most overused cliche of this election.

I like Ted in the Senate, maybe Trump will put him in charge instead of Mc Turdle.

“Trump backs U.S.-Cuba diplomatic relations”

And if you go back, you will have seen lots of people on this site did as well.

But funny that this is beyond the pale, but we are the full on the economic vassal state of China.

Well, I think that answers one question. I am relieved, at this point.

Palin endorses Trump now he is +6. Beck endorses Cruz lets see if he gets a bounce. I doubt it.

That doesn't surprise me given all the pro-Putin, pro-Russia scum we have on the site.

I think Ted would make a great AG.

The best majority leader would be Sessions, and he has the seniority to get elected. I believe Ted has just 4 years seniority, not even one whole term.

Would love to see Cruz vs. Trump in a 3 hour debate with moderators >115 IQ. I doubt it would change any Trump supporters minds, but it would be quite illuminating. By the way, when is the last time Trump has engaged in any meaningful thought on any issues? Rambling soundbites excluded.

So why did he do it, if it wasn’t required?

Lets see what some of Cruz’s followers have to say about his latest endorsement......

https://www.tedcruz.org/news/cruz-for-president-announces-endorsement-of-mike-bickle/

Ted Cruz welcomes the endorsement of Mike Bickle.

If Christians just knew who this guy was, they wouldn’t be so crazy about Cruz. Brinkley co-founded an organization called IHOP (not the pancake house) International House of Prayer. It’s a dangerous cult. The co-founder of IHOP is Lou Engle, a heavy-weight in the 7 Mountains/dominionism movement that Ted and his father are up to their ears in.

http://talkingpointsmemo.com/longform/inside-the-international-house-of-prayer–2

The extent to which this movement is infiltrating the religious right is getting scary. In this article, you’ll see Rick Perry, Sam Brownback, and Sarah Palin mentioned in connection to it.

Bickle’s aim, however, is not merely to woo politicians and spiritual leaders. There’s an obvious global strategy to this whole thing, a former IHOP follower told me. This is not about putting Kansas City on the map. This is not about look at this cool thing going on in Missouri. This is definitely about Mike’s overarching sense— his strategy to, as he said, change the nature and face of Christianity in a generation, and he wants to have a global impact. This definitely has a huge global fingerprint.…

IHOP critics and former followers point to the intensity of its requirements for young interns and students: hours spent in the prayer room, fast days, demands that they receive prophecies or talk to God, the general requirement of greater intimacy with Jesus, feelings of inadequacy when these ambitions can’t be achieved…

The intensity of the IHOP experience has led, some claim, even to foul play. Most recently, IHOP sought to distance itself from a sensational murder case in Grandview involving a group of IHOPU students living in a group house together…

I think Ted would make a great AG.

I think he would a very entertaining press secretary. That is, once he receives some serious schooling on foreign policy.

You have to admit, Trump has a great sense of humor.

Pray America wakes

love to see Cruz try to build a 60 story luxury building in a year and a half,, he’d debate it to death with his whiny voice
