Don't be surprised to see the barber patron shooters arrested for using excessive force or for shooting when the criminals were exiting the scene. The argument will be, "since the criminals were exiting, they no longer posed a threat." Then there's the civil court, where the deceased parents can sue for big bucks for the death of their child.

Reminds me of the movie (forget the name) where two robbers try to hold up a bar that is filled with off duty police officers. The barber shop in this story is on FORT JACKSON BLVD, which is just outside FORT JACKSON ARMY BASE, which is one of the Army's boot camps. Most of the people in this area are either active duty, prior military, retired military, or dependent of one the former. They ALL know how to handle weapons.
