I think the change in his social conservatism began around 2009. Agreed, it is kind of recent. But his social conservatism or lack of it, is not why he is leading by double digits. It has to be the financial squeeze the vast middle class has experienced for 10 years and it is not getting any better. If you observe the people showing up at his rallies are not very poor or very rich for that matter. It is all typical working middle class. Obviously they like Trump only as their last hope to bring middle class jobs back from China, and get rid of the welfare dependent illegals. I hope their hope will work out. Only time will tell.
But I have finally realized that the career politicians in pockets of the mega-rich donor class will never save the working middle class. Because the interest of donor class is opposite of the middle class.
that last sentence is the most important one, involving whom to vote for, that i have read so far.
it is more powerful than 1,000 absurd pro Trump posts I have read and is strongly convincing.
I like Ted, but even he said, he has to beg for money wherever he goes.
how can you NOT owe people? it’s hard.
even Reagan had to take on bush to get the donor support
