Of course. Which is why every other nation on earth has a constitution, worships freedom second to God and generally enjoys the highest quality of life among the largest percentage of its population on the planet outside of liberal infested crapholes.

This is simply more proof that the politicians who support Common Core are simply naïve fools. The basic concept they wish for is OK - common standards across he country to gauge the effectiveness of schools. What they don’t and never will understand is that when a government bureaucracy runs ANYTHING it turns into a large, wasteful, agenda driven cesspool, run by self-interested tyrants who are unaccountable to normal controls. I use as examples, the IRS, EPA, UN, EU, Energy Department, Education Department,........etc. Anyone who believes in Common Core doesn’t deserve to be the dog catcher.
Interesting. I’m glad tbe Veritas people are doing this. They pick their targets well. Lots of smoke suggesting Common Core’s leftist roots, and now we see some fire. Someone needs to send this to a certain northern Alabama morning talkshow host.

Wouldn’t expect you to know who I’m talking about since he’s just a local host. He’s the morning drive guy at the big station in Huntsville which covers the northern part of the state. I’m blanking on his name. He’s pretty solid on most issues but he’s defended Common Core. He seems to consider opposition to it to be rooted in kooky conspiracy theory stuff.
I had a good visit to the space/tech museum in Huntsville once. Worth the trip.
That said, local school boards should run local schools.
I think even state level is too far away from the needs of a particular community.
Funny I didn’t notice Trump or NY values mentioned as a thorn in the side of CC but I did notice how much of a thorn in the side of CC Texas and Texas values are.
