There have been a lot of negative ads flying around in the Republican presidential campaign, but none of them from Donald Trump -- until now. On Friday morning, the Trump campaign will unveil its first attack ad of the race, targeted at closest GOP rival Ted Cruz on the issue of immigration.
The 60-second ad, entitled "Clear Difference," has no narration. Instead, it is built on clips of what was perhaps Cruz's weakest moment in the campaign so far -- his halting and defensive interview last month with Fox News anchor Bret Baier concerning Cruz's efforts to amend the Gang of Eight comprehensive immigration reform bill back in 2013.
"It sounded like you wanted the bill to pass," Baier said to Cruz in the December 16 interview.
Cruz, normally the smoothest of communicators, stumbled as he searched for an answer. "Eh, of course I wanted the bill to pass, uh, my amendment to pass…"
It was a particularly damaging moment -- and material for future attack ads -- because the Gang of Eight bill was anathema to a significant portion of the Republican base when it was under consideration in the Senate, and is perhaps even more so today.
The ad later cuts to clips of Cruz in 2013, proposing his amendments, which would have taken away a path to citizenship but left intact the Gang of Eight's provision to legalize millions of currently illegal immigrants. "I want immigration reform to pass," Cruz said back then, "and that allows those who are here illegally to come in out of the shadows."

And what’s even stranger is many of Trump supporters here are practically single issue, DEPORT THE ILLEGALS AND CLOSE THE BORDER. Yet Trump’s actual position doesn’t phase them... It really is the twilight zone here.

Seems that Levin should have outed himself during one of his 3 hour Trump rants. Guess honesty is not one of his strong suits.
With National RINO Review coming out with the hitpiece on Trump the Washington establishment is in full melt down knowing that that Trump will in all likelihood be the GOP nominee. They’ve all laughed at him for months now they eat crow.

Trump supporters say he only goes after people who attack him, but he went after Cruz first. Which is okay. But it shows Trump supporters are delusional about him.
I can’t believe some people do not understand such a simple concept.
1. We are importing over ONE MILLION NEW immigrants every year.
2. 90% of these NEW immigrants are low skills and low money.
Amnesty = granting pardon to those broke the law, which means never deporting them and giving them path to legal status as senator Cruz wanted.

When ALL illegals are deported, that is enforcing EXISTING law.
A small percentage of those illegals are actually BETTER than 90% of one million new immigrants we admit every year. So it makes sense to allow them to come back LEGALLY as part of the new immigrant crowd we admit every year.
Any illegal can leave and then apply to come back in legally. There is no law barring them from legal entry.
So all Trump is saying, let us not hurt the economy by permanently deporting those who are productive. And make them legal by deporting them first. Then we get to choose who we want back.
Ha. That or a President Trump would have to work a deal with the RATS
and GOPe’s in return for confirming Cruz.

and it may take a “deal” to get Cruz on the Supreme Court.

Cruz is the one that started it all three weeks ago when he said BEHIND CLOSED DOORS talking to donors, that Trump didn’t have the temperament or judgement to be president. Even through Cruz didn’t have the nerve to say it to his face or in public Trump found out and is counter-punching. Then the Palin endorsement, now all the polls coming out showing Trump up by double digits everywhere. The establishment is in full melt-down. This is the greatest thing I’ve witnessed in years. Only thing better would be Trump being sworn in as president.

I hadn’t heard that Mark Levin’s fiance’s son works on the Cruz campaign. Now isn’t that interesting. How cowardly and corrupt of Mark Levin to not disclose this. He just went down one big peg in my estimation. Conflict of interest time. The sin of omission.
Is your memory getting old? How old are you? I am in my 70’s and I admit my memory is not as sharp as it was in my 50’s.
Canada born Rafael was recorded on audio telling his donors in a private meeting that Trump was never going to be the president, because he is a liberal from new York. That was start of the attacks from either side.
If I can remember that in my 70’s, you better be older than me to have forgotten that.
Levin is an insider party hack, so there ya go.
He is turning it around on them. First he made the issue a non-issue by announcing it. I had no idea he even had a lady or was not married, I honestly didn’t care. By offering the reward he has moved the target from himself to the party/person behind it.
it’s not a leak he is looking for, he is looking in to who is digging in to his personal and private life.

Levin turned out to be a total fraud. So his fiance’s son is a staffer for Cruz and while Levin has been shilling non-stop for Cruz, he conveniently forgot to disclose that. Then he comes up with the bs story that some campaign is trying to intimidate and silence him and that’s why he has to get the word out.
