From "The Blueberry Capital of the World" here in south Jersey, Mrs.I and daughter were quick to come up with Blueberry Hill by Fats Domino, and then suggested -
Cherry Bomb - John Mellencamp
Cherry Pink and Apple Blossom White - Roy Clark
American Pie - Don McLean
Sugar - Maroon 5
Sugar in the Morning, Sugar in the Evening, Sugar at Supper Time - McGuire Sisters
I Heard It Through the Grapevine - Marvin Gaye......
To: Publius
Thank you Publius, I hadn’t heard it in years. Somehow I was thinking Spike Jones. I would have never came up with Lonnie Donegan.

“The Peanut Vendor” was a popular old tune that many recorded.
For a sheerly goofy title, I have some old country-music 78 from the 1920s with the title “I Heard the Voice of a Pork Chop.” Don’t even remember who it was that recorded it, and it’s buried away in a closet too hard to dig out. Always found the ridiculous title amusing. Offhand, I don’t even recall ever playing it.
