At least their principled. With Trump I haven’t seen people go so gaga over a candidate since Barack Hussein Obama.

It will not slow down Trump, but they have every right to publish what they want.

I am not voting for Trump because he is a conservative I am trying to save the Republic so we can argue on here for a few more decades
So excuse me if that hurts a few feelings. I don’t give a damn about your feelings just trying to save the Republic for which it stands!

In Rubio, Bush, Christie and Kasich they have their candidates. In other words, clear choices have been offered. Why are they complaining? They are upset that very few like those choices?

Trump is a phony and a poser, but what is worse is that some many fall for it. I thought better of FR.

..National Review, conservative thinkers stand against Trump...
Yes. Krauthammer, George Will. Karl Rove, and the rest of the GOPe. Not a shock.

What’s hilarious is that the NR has never come out with a blistering editorial against various Republicans who have held office since the 1960s compromising and working with Democrats on the ongoing destruction of our country.

Because Trump is not a conservative, of any stripe. He could do many very good things for the nation and the anti-Democrat movements, and hopefully tear apart the foundation of the GOPe... but he isn't conservative, and there are many things to worry about if he does take office. He will follow Obama's lead in ignoring the Separation of Powers (he has directly said so); he could start a trend of electing personalities, celebrities, and/or hyper-wealthy folks (most of whom tend to be idiots); he will almost certainly not be a statesman nor a strong diplomat (that mouth and ego cannot handle either); he could easily have many ideas and motivations that would be polar opposites to what we might hope for... and this is kind of the point. We do not know what we might be getting, because he has never been in office and has never worked towards any conservative cause. It is a pig in a poke.
I'll vote for the Donald if Cruz isn't available, but it will be with much trepidation.
