Real-estate mogul Donald Trump got some great news Thursday afternoon in the form of a new CNN/ORC poll showing him pulling ahead in Iowa.
That survey showed him leading his top rival, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), 37% to 26%, among likely Iowa caucus-goers.
But the CNN poll was apparently too recent for Trump to tout at a Thursday rally in Las Vegas, Nevada. Instead, Trump boasted about his results in another recent Iowa poll, from Emerson College, that found him beating Cruz 33% to 23%.

Cruz himself would say “who needs enemies when you’ve got libbylu”. Her clinical hatred has over time hardened the vote for TRUMP and moved it off of Cruz, where most of us started out.

If you listened to Trump’s comments at his Vegas rally today where he talked about these polls, he said that he took nothing for granted and unless we win this does not mean anything. So I think he is thinking just like you.

I had rejected a lot of the Conservative media negative opinions about Trump, but after he came out supporting ethanol subsidies, I walked away from any consideration of supporting Trump! If you liked Obama and the Republican congresses two-sidedness, you are going to love Trump! Enjoy!
He's getting skunked. Cruz will finish 2nd in IA, probably 4th in NH, 2nd or 3d in SC, but the preponderance of delegates will quickly overwhelm him, especially when he starts coming in second in winner take all states.
I have predicted that by Super Tues, Trump will have about 400-450 delegates compared to about 50-80 max for the #2 guy.
