Donald Trump holds a sizable lead among Arizona Republicans, according to a new poll.
Trump gets 38.3 percent in the Arizona survey of 771 voters by pollster Michael Nobleâs MBQF Consulting.
Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is second with 15.6 percent giving Trump close to a 23-point lead in the Grand Canyon State.
Florida Sen. Marco Rubio is third with 11.4 percent followed by Ben Carson (7.1 percent) and Jeb Bush (7 percent).
Noble said no other GOP candidate gets more than 5 percent, and 10 percent of voters polled are undecided.
Trump has touted his private sector and real estate experience in his bid for U.S. president.
Arizona voters have liked a business background in the past electing former Cold Stone Creamery CEO Doug Ducey in 2014 and businessman and real estate developer Fife Symington in the 1990s in gubernatorial elections.
Wow! It seems Trump is way ahead in most states. Iowa is a dead heat and the last poll I saw in California Cruz is ahead. I have not seen anything from Texas lately where Cruz may have an edge.
AZ poll ping, didn’t make Albion Wilde’s list today
This poll is also significant in that the same wave developing in AZ
to nominate Trump, could also carry Ward in, and suck McCain out to sea.
Speaking of McCain, have not heard much out of him lately.
There’s two blessing.
Haven’t heard from the maggot, and Trump may help carry him out of office.
Wow, do you folks realize Trump may rid us of Hillary and this rat turd.
The American People are finally—and no longer afraid to say so—p!$$ed...and they want a candidate also p!$$$$$$ed too !!!!!!!!!!

Why is everyone acting like it’s Trump & Cruz when Cruz is 20 pts behind in most polls?
Is the entire election dialogue locked on Iowa?

Makes me a happy camper...
And w/the possible demise of McCain makes for a happy warrior as well!!
“Why is everyone acting like itâs Trump & Cruz when Cruz is 20 pts behind in most polls?”
Well someone has to be in 2nd, I guess...
Iowa is just that state where people have the ability to just smother it for weeks and months, so it’s always that state where someone can “look good” but then proceed to fail miserably in the states that you have mere days to compete in.
Trump is leading just about everywhere, except in Iowa. I did see a recent poll that shows that Cruz is ahead in Alaska and California, also. But, if Trump wins in Iowa, you can bet that he’ll win in California and Alaska as well.
His spawn was mouthing off, but that’s nothing new. He had better not say one discouraging word about Sarah Palin, after all the (undeserved, imho) loyalty she has shown him. Probably best if he just keeps his pie-hole shut and turns his thoughts to retirement.
a lot of Cruzers think Trumps last name is Trumpandcruz
He always lays low when he is up for re-election. He won't say or do too much controversial except savage his primary challenger.
Thanks.
McCain is going to regret not courting Trump, IMO. Trump can cause real trouble in AZ for McCain if he wants too.
Thanks for the ping!
I’m in the same state that keeps electing McCain too.

If Cruz was your guy, would you give up now?
I look at this as mathematically possible for Cruz to overcome. Just say for example Cruz wins Iowa, and possibly the bulk of the rest of the field drop out and migrate to the Cruz camp. If I had to bet the farm, I’d say Trump is almost a shoo in, but the fat lady ain’t singin’ yet.
We’re not stupid to hold out hope. For me the biggest objection to a Trump Presidency is whom he would potentially choose for SCOTUS appointments.
