J. Taikwok Yung has been doing a terrible, god-awful job of making fun on Donald Trump on the internet since 2007.
Yung has been sitting on multiple parody websites including the name "trump" in the title, such as trumpindia.com, trumpbeijing.com, and trumpmumbai.com. The sites have a banner at the top reading "Fan, Parody and News," and feature scintillating commentary ranking each season of "The Apprentice" on a scale from "All around sucks like hell" to "OK Season" to "Pretty good." They also feature some links to YouTube "Apprentice" parody videos that are so bad they don't even give you schadenfreude so much as a thick, soul-crushing depression.
In fact the quality of the parody is so bad it may have been instrumental in costing Yung a $32,000 settlement in a lawsuit with Mr. Trump.
Yung had cited the First Amendment in his right to operate the sites in an ongoing suit with Mr. Trump going back at least as far as 2010. But a judge sided with Trump Friday that Yung had violated the Anticybersquatting Consumer Protection Act. It probably didn't help that Yung described himself as a "domainer." But if he had done a better job at making fun The Donald (which, less face it, should be pretty easy) he probably would have had an easier time arguing that the sites served a legitimate purpose as parody and weren't just taking up space on the internet with the intent to sell the catchy domains to the highest bidder.
Be like Trump, have billions and buy the politicians to do your bidding...I’d rather he use his OWN money than mine.
How much did that cost the taxpayers? Trump himself says he only donates to politicians if he can get influence from them.
Is this satire?? Surely it is.
What makes you think he has been using his own money? He has said he buys politicians, he owns them, and they do his bidding.
Can you be sure...?
What makes you think he has been using his own money?...Where else could he get the money? From the government? The politicians already own ALL of that.
..How much did that cost the taxpayers?...
Got any figures on that? Or, just innuendo?
Try doing the same thing with harleydavidsonindia.com, or disneyindia etc.
It’s infringement plain and simple, and the fool would have been sued into oblivion.
I take Donald at his word don’t you? He said giving money to politicians is the same as owning them and getting them to do favors for you. I just wonder what Donald, by his own admission, may have gotten for all that economic activity he created
Aren’t you just a little curious what Donald may have gotten for all those millions he donated to Reid, Hillary, Nancy and Mitch?
Donald Trump’s lawyers sent a letter to a clothing company specializing in anti-Trump shirts, threatening legal action if they did not stop selling them.
OMG. That’s terrible. What were women doing there?
Well, some say they were ancestors of Sarah Palin, out drinking with the boys. :-)
They are no longer on the web.
You finally figured it out.....!
OPM
“34,000 jobs created directly with the Trump company. Multimillions annually in payroll.”
Using the standard ratio of one full-time job positively impacting the economic well-being of other jobs (1:3), means in total he contributed to building/creating/supporting roughly 135,000 jobs.
Standard practice is to contribute to both sides of the aisle, and the odd thing is, the party that is hostile to your business actually receives more bucks because you have to invest more with them to achieve access and influence.
Prove it. He has no audit sheets? He didn’t report his taxes? You really are digging deep here.
Post 36.
Am I...? Post for me what Donald got for all the politicians he bought and paid for, by his own admission. Let’s see the spread sheet of what all that cash got the Donald...1
