What's the hurry to nominate Trump?
12/21/2016 | Myself

What's the hurry to nominate Trump like it's do or die in Iowa. We should take our time and see what Cruz has to say. Give Trump time to grow as a candidate, get exposed to what we Americans want from him. I want to flesh out these two candidates. I think Americans deserve it.

It’s getting kind of funny isn’t it? New Haampshire is going to clip her wings.

Trump isn’t “erratic” at all.
I do realize that it takes some people longer than others to choose a candidate to vote for; however, IF you do research, pay attention, listen, with an OPEN MIND to what they all say, you’ll have an easier time making up your mind.

I think they should sit in a large triangle, on a beautiful lawn fronting the sea, and feel the
energy. Cruz and Trump and Timothy Leary and Baba Ram Das could sip tea together in
that triangle, chanting OM OM OM. I think that would give us insight as to where we are
going, who should be captain, who should be chief mate on this ship of life.

Trump is liberal NY scum. Cruz would take him out in a head to head race.

It's not just "scary", they're DESTROYING this site with their antics!

Most of us just want to debate/talk it all over and then..... BOOM, they storm onto a thread and start hurling insults, harass the posters, post utter tripe and then THEY complain that the rest of us are hitting back; which we didn't do for many, many months.

Well, there ya go again.

No, Trump is far better at all of this than Teddy is. Trump is a leader, VERY patriotic, understands what needs to be done and is more than ready, willing, and able to get done what needs to be done.

I think the Florida Republican Party is going to be very unhappy they flipped Florida to a winner take all state. They were betting on ex gov. Bush, and backup Rubio. Fla. says NO WAY!

Let’s have the election tomorrow. (I hate that utf-8 bug fr has)

I think it's more an urgency to get Obama out of office than to get Cruz in. Getting rid of Ryan in the primary would be a bonus.

I'll say nothing negative of Cruz or Trump.

Most of these people are off their rockers and are incapable of rational discussion. it appears to me (and some others) as if most of the really rabid Cruz-Trolls bought or cracked old inactive accounts, and are probably paid Cruz-trolls: most of this handful of rabid Cruz-Troll accounts are from 1998 and 1999.

I think that you are onto something. This seems to have escalated a great deal in the past couple of weeks. I have also noticed that despite the explosive rhetoric most of them do not respond to people who challenge them. This seems like "professional" behavior. They are cautious about getting into emotional conflicts with others to avoid getting zotted.

I am doubtful that they are being paid for by Cruz because I think the posts are in reality very damaging to Cruz. I would suspect that if they are professional trolls that it is more likely they are paid by Jeb or one of the other establishment candidates who feels that they would benefit by Cruz or Trump going to war. The real pressure the last couple of weeks appears to be on Cruz. He has been hit by one bad thing after another. Fortunately, I do not think that the troll like comments here are representative of how he is reacting.

At any company, the webmaster would have already been fired. This is a simple issue which should have been fixed when it was introduced. It makes me wonder where the donation money is actually spent, and what horrible security problems might lurk in this site.

I was most surprised by the vicious and nasty attacks on Sarah and Bristol Palin that started this morning. It was as bad or worse than what one might expect at the to find at the Democratic Underground or similar sites. I have a very hard time believing that any long time Freeper would be doing that. I may not always agree with Sarah Palin, but I hold her in the highest esteem and would never characterize her the way some have done today. It was disgusting and uncalled for.

“Trump has exposed those who pretend to be conservative but are really just fronts for big money establishment campaign donors who purchase their candidates with campaign “donations”.”

We owe him a debt of gratitude for throwing bombs in the GOPe “outhouse.” Over at the RNC it’s “raining $hit and boards” thanks to The Donald. I just love watching all the “conservatives” in the GOPe looking for cover.

It’s actually worse than that. The word ‘conservative’ is being bantied about like a party litmus test in 1959 China. I joined FR because I noticed I have similar shared values with others on this board. I never sat down and inspected my navel to see if I in fact fit the ‘conservative’ litmus test.

"What's the hurry to nominate Trump?"

Maybe he has a shelf life, like Cinderella.

What's the hurry to nominate Trump?

Because we wanna make America Great Again, like, NOW! :)

Actually, I want to see all the other candidates go away and have a race between Trump and Cruz already. Either one is fine with me, but because of their ages, I'm hoping for a Trump/Cruz 2016 and 2020 ticket and a Cruz/ 2024 and 2028 ticket!

Their disgusting, uncalled for posts were and are deplorable in the extreme.

But then, many of these same posters did the same thing to Phyllis Schlafly, when SHE endorsed Trump.

But bet your bottom dollar, that IF their baby boy Teddykins, had gotten those endorsements, then those wonderful women would all have "walked on water", to them.

For all of their vast and numerous declarations of what WONDERFUL, MARVELOUS, perfectly PURE, GREAT CHRISTIANS they are, and that Trump and every one of his supporters "HATE JESUS" and are "GOING TO HELL", they aren't living up to the standards they claim for themselves at all.

And sad to say, a LOT of them have much newer sign up dates that I have; though some old timers have turned insane as well.

I’ve been here for over twelve years and do not remember this level of nastiness. Today Sarah and Bristol Palin got treated worse than Romney did and all that was done was an endorsement of a candidate that who is a favorite of many Freepers.

LOL...how VERY right you are and I am gleeful about that!

Trump is dislodging a whole LOT of people who have helped to ruin the GOP.
