GREELEY, Colo. (CBS4)â Colorado Congressman Ken Buck has thrown his support behind fellow Republican Ted Cruz for president.
Buck, a Republican representing Northern Colorado, announced his endorsement on Wednesday. He will also serve as the Colorado chairman for Cruzâs campaign.
âWe need a strong, conservative leader in the White House,â said Buck in a statement. âTed Cruz is that leader. He has consistently and passionately fought hard against the Washington establishment in order to restore the power back to the American people. We need Ted in 2016 in order to help restore America back to the principles that made this country exceptional.â
In turn, Cruz offered some supporting words in his choice of Buck to lead his campaign in Colorado.

Interesting electoral tidbit: Colorado will not have a Presidential primary or caucus this year. Their delegates will be sent to the convention as free delegates.

Well, that’s all she wrote. The Ken Buck endorsement seals the deal for Cruz.
Though, I guess we really should wait to see which way Christine O’Donnell and Sharon Angle go before we declare the primary over.

Well, whether you support Cruz or support Trump, Ken Buck is a good man.
The GOP executive committee has voted to cancel the traditional presidential preference poll after the national party changed its rules to require a state’s delegates to support the candidate that wins the caucus vote.
The move makes Colorado the only state so far to forfeit a role in the early nomination process, according to political experts, but other caucus states are still considering how to adapt to the new rule.

Part of his district is Weld County who wanted to secede from Colorado over gun control. Hey, Trump picked up a huge endorsement today too.

I was referring to the wording chosen by the author, not the endorsement.
I thought that line makes Cruz look weak and ungrateful.
Good for Cruz. Voters who like Colorado Congressman Ken Buck will mean more votes for Cruz.
Did they actually win?
What are Sharon Angle and Christine O’Donnell’s actual federal voting records in Congress?
