In about the same time it took Cruz to support fast track for Obama and Goldman Sachs.
Disappointed but I understand her need to lash out at GOPe.
The ends justify the means. Let’s win the WH, and we’ll talk about the lofty BS exposed in this article.
Conservatism is safe and sound in the hands of Donald Trump. Ethanol is the only thing where I differ with him, but I don’t know his reasoning.
I’ve stopped reading and listening to most of the pundits out there.
Who cares what Hotair says?
Clearly no one there knows what the TEA movement was about or why Palin is a heroine. Anyone that thinks that TEA was about some philosophical tribute to Edmund Burke is nuts. Granny’s in tennis shoes and construction workers don’t give a rip about HotAir. They care about saving the failing USA ! And Palin does too no matter what these pissant bloggers think.
The “principle” today is stopping the left from destroying the country.
We can get back to the niceties of restoring constitutional federalism after we stop the bleeding.
Man you Cruz supporters are as ungrateful and disloyal as McCain.
Shapiro is absolutely right, and kudos to him for being willing to write it. The populist twinge to the original Tea Party was fine because it was promoting freedom and liberty, smaller government, and sound fiscal policy. But the populism running rampant today, which Sarah Palin is supporting, isn’t promoting what the original Tea Party stood for. It’s here where Palin is abandoning the values she claims to stand for, all in the name of populism and strong man syndrome. She should know better, and it’s disappointing she’s gone down this road. It isn’t surprising, but it’s still disappointing.
Oh well. They should have secured that border like the people demanded. They ignored the “populace” and this is what happens.
Sarah's got "issues" she's been dealing with for some time since her popularity took a nosedive and that just not her kids. She has changed and so, as was said, her endorsement for Trump is not surprising....simply a reflection of the road she's been traveling.
It’s not “populism”, it’s American nationalism and particularism, and it’s about time.
David? David Axelrod? Is this you? I wondered what happened to you after high school. Will you be able to make it to our high school reunion?
The author’s right. It’s not surprising, but it’s disappointing that she’s gone down the populist/strongman road.
Hate to break it to her, but populism IS going to carry the day here.
Either the Trump/Palin variety, or the Sanders/Warren style. But it IS going to carry the day.
Voters chose Obama because of the color - black.
Voters are choosing Trump because of the colors- red, white and blue.
Do YOU- see ANY- difference- at- all?
I find myself disgusted by the bullcrap flowing in the media.
TEA party is populist simply because it is not led by a single person - it is run by the fricking people themselves!
The media is the enemy.
