Shapiro is absolutely right, and kudos to him for being willing to write it. The populist twinge to the original Tea Party was fine because it was promoting freedom and liberty, smaller government, and sound fiscal policy. But the populism running rampant today, which Sarah Palin is supporting, isnât promoting what the original Tea Party stood for. Itâs here where Palin is abandoning the values she claims to stand for, all in the name of populism and strong man syndrome. She should know better, and itâs disappointing sheâs gone down this road. It isnât surprising, but itâs still disappointing...

In about the same time it took Cruz to support fast track for Obama and Goldman Sachs.
Disappointed but I understand her need to lash out at GOPe.
The ends justify the means. Let’s win the WH, and we’ll talk about the lofty BS exposed in this article.
Conservatism is safe and sound in the hands of Donald Trump. Ethanol is the only thing where I differ with him, but I don’t know his reasoning.
I’ve stopped reading and listening to most of the pundits out there.
Mindless snark makes your ass look big and your mind look small.
Who cares what Hotair says?
Clearly no one there knows what the TEA movement was about or why Palin is a heroine. Anyone that thinks that TEA was about some philosophical tribute to Edmund Burke is nuts. Granny’s in tennis shoes and construction workers don’t give a rip about HotAir. They care about saving the failing USA ! And Palin does too no matter what these pissant bloggers think.
The “principle” today is stopping the left from destroying the country.
We can get back to the niceties of restoring constitutional federalism after we stop the bleeding.
Yes, mindless snark. Like post one? Like your post? Anyway, it’s cool. I know he had to do what his wife told him to.
Does this snark make my ass look big?
Man you Cruz supporters are as ungrateful and disloyal as McCain.

It is Palin who is the ungrateful and disloyal sellout. And I will FOREVER draw attention to that fact. Stick a fork in her, she is done.
Oh well. They should have secured that border like the people demanded. They ignored the “populace” and this is what happens.
Exactly right. First things first.
Sarah's got "issues" she's been dealing with for some time since her popularity took a nosedive and that just not her kids. She has changed and so, as was said, her endorsement for Trump is not surprising....simply a reflection of the road she's been traveling.
It is Palin who is the ungrateful and disloyal sellout.
She is responsible for your guy getting his senate seat, and now you are talking trash about her. With friends like you, who needs enemies.
With friends like her, who needs friends!
She also endorsed and supported Kelly Ayotte the biggest Liberal RINO Bitch in the Senate. She also supported and campaigned for Nikki Haley. There's a pair of turd blossoms you can claim too if that is the game you wish to play.
INDEED !!
