Sarah Palin, the former Alaska governor and 2008 vice-presidential nominee who became a Tea Party sensation and a favorite of grass-roots conservatives, will endorse Donald J. Trump in Iowa on Tuesday, officials with his campaign confirmed. The endorsement provides Mr. Trump with a potentially significant boost just 13 days before the state's caucuses.
I’ve always admired Sarah and the main reason I voted for McCain was because of her. I thought her speech in Iowa was good (I’m giving her credit for the 1st one for awhile and for The Donald), but the one in Tulsa yesterday was much better! That’s JMHO for what it’s worth.
All that said, I think that was quite an achievement by Trump to get her onboard, especially since she helped Cruz in his Senatorial campaign.
As I’ve said for a while, would love to see her as Secretary of Energy and EPA, may even be able to throw in the Interior and combine them all and get rid of a lot of deadweight.
Don’t know exactly how it works, but one of the things in the western part of the US is that the Federal Gov owns a lot of lands and they keep taking more over, especially in the Obummer admin. They can’t clear the forests of dried and dead wood, which adds fuel to the forest fires out here. I’ve been thinking that it might be worthwhile to sell some of this land to the private sector and use the money to help pay down the national debt. Sorry, got off on a bit of a tangent, but just thinking about what Sarah might be able to do in one or more of the aforementioned positions, especially if Trump was Prez. Just my $.02.
Translation: Any remarks favoring Cruz are 'insults'= no Freepers should support anyone but the Pied Piper.
Interesting as you may be right. I do think she brought Trump some Iowa votes.
Good grief.
Honest ignorance or deliberate carrying the water of obfuscation for the Pied Piper?
I saw another thread discussing the relative costs and benefits of someone like Trump mounting a third party challenge if a brokered convention gives us Jeb or some other establishment candidate. One poster said something like "I'll only vote third party only if Sarah Palin goes third party." Reminded me of the "thinking" of Obamabots on the Left. Some people really do think that Sarah is infallible...but it's worse than that. Now her daughter Bristol is considered to be a fountain of sage political wisdom by many.
Our culture has rotted away to not much more than sound bites and reality shows. I guess it was only a matter of time before conservatism would go the same way. Back in the day, the spokesmen for conservatism were men like Russell Kirk. Then we took a sharp fall downhill when National Review was taken over by mental featherweights like Rich Lowry and Jonah Goldberg. Just when you think it couldn't sink any lower, movement conservatism has no-weights as spokesmen, such as a pregnant single teen mother from "Dancing With the Stars." As I said earlier, the Palins have become the Kardashians of the Republican Party.
Sarah Palin also endorsed ethanol subsidies.

Trump is joining the Insiders and he is taking some of the Conservatives with him. Trump is the ultimate crony capitalist, the only difference is that he directs the crony relationship. There is not much give and take.
Agree.
AMEN
I pray to God the realty of your post sinks in - and/or the Pied Piper finally exposes himself that one step too far...
I’m still suspicious that this is another Perot deal - where Perot ‘elects’ Bubba and waltzes off with his gov’t favoritism re contracts etc.
Heck, it got Bubba elected with less than 50% -
And who did el Trumpo meet with re campaign strategy before announcing? Why, Some good conservatives. NO WAIT - it was with Bubba....
Either way, Trump feathers his nest forever: If he wins - he rules for El Trumpo. If Mr.s Bubba wins, same deal.
It wont. Because people are too proud to overcome their emotional investment. They will not admit their mistakes. And they hate America enough to put their ego before it.
Some of them have the added bonus of wanting revenge against conservatives for not electing the last liberal to wear an R.
That really is an excellent idea! You really should tweet Sarah and Donald about it!!!
I don't think so.
And Trump is a hypocrite who paid them off to better his business. So who should lead the country?
WHOA! Duck Dynasty's Willie Robertson just endorsed Donald Trump https://t.co/uRbaUqXAyH #TrumpTrain #Trump2016 #IACaucus #IowaCaucus— Wayne Dupree⢠(@WayneDupreeShow) January 22, 2016
Are Hobby Lobby and Chick-Fil-A also clueless as to how the country works? There’s nothing “clueless” about risking your business so that you can stand up for moral and biblical principles. That’s called having values and courage and not putting profits above morality.
In Trump’s case, any conservative worth his salt can easily sniff out that he is indifferent at best on issues of same-sex marriage and abortion, and would sell out those principles easily. Or maybe just forgot that he ever said he held them.
‘He sounds and acts just like Obama. But he has many of you neo-Freepers fooled.’

Back then, Donald Trump offered to put up his own money to stop the [Ground Zero Victory Mosque aka] Mosque and Islamic community center planned near Ground Zero.
Trump said he’d pay $6 million for the Park51 Cordoba Mosque site (a princely sum for property then-worth about $4.5 million).
Trump was lacerated for his efforts by the property/s investor.

‘Christianity under siege!’
Amen, my ‘evil overlord’! We must defend Christians to fulfill our sinister plans. And Sarah Palin will prepare the animal sacrifice.

Is Trump a monster? That would mean the following:
1. Hannity is in on it.
2. Rush is in on it.
3. Herman Cain is in on it.
4. Senator Jeff Sessions is being duped.
5. Phyllis Schlafly is being duped.
6. Jerry Falwell, Jr talking to Hannity re Trump ...

7. Michael Savage, probably the most paranoid anti-establishment talk radio host around, is also being duped.
8. And last but not least — Sarah Palin is ‘in on it’.
I’m sure the list is even longer than that.
In the meantime, this super-villain was attacked during the response to the State of the Union Address by the ‘G’ OP. How ‘Wellstone Memorial’ of’em. About as strong an endorsement in Trump’s favor as you can get.
If there is any clue on earth that Trump is evil, Jeb Bush would have already exposed it by now. Easy these days to leak via proxy. Trump has destroyed the Bush Dynasty’s aura of power by hostile takeover.
Then there’s the ‘stream of consciousness’ open-book events. A super-villain doesn’t roll that way — too much to hide.
Ah yes, sounds remarkably similar to my "Land for Maine's Future Solvency" proposal.

The business man. Naturally.
Looks like Will and his dad Phil support different candidates ( Phil came out for Ted Cruz last week ).
