A spokesman for Sen. Ted Cruz's presidential campaign said Tuesday it would be a "blow" to former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin if she endorsed businessman Donald Trump for president.
"I think it [would] be a blow to Sarah Palin, because Sarah Palin has been a champion for the conservative cause, and if she was going to endorse Donald Trump, sadly, she would be endorsing someone who's held progressive views all their life on the sanctity of life, on marriage, on partial-birth abortion," Cruz campaign spokesman Rick Tyler said on CNN's "New Day."

WTF?
Which candidate FAILED to lend moral support, vocal support or financial support to the TP candidates in 2014, but cheerfully ran deeply silent from his frigging perch on the National Republican Senate Committee, where we now learn he also injected McConnell and the boys dirty tricks operation with $200,00.00— at the same time money was used to deploy the MISSISSIPPI TREATMENT against Matt Bevin, who was leading in that race, against Thad Cochran, mule of the Establishment!
No Freepers knew that, at the time. No Freepers caught on the Cruz effort to repair himself with the Establishment, by joining up with them during the ‘14 senatorial election, giving him his excuse to be silent and not helping other conservatives win.
ALL FReepers were enraged about the Barbour machine in MS.
NOW we know what was going on.
..well stated Raster...
Set down the booze, please.
and the heart breaking truth is so many of those who
we thought to be conservative are being led like sheep to the slaughter... oh AMERICA..WAKE UP!!!
Apparently conservative means you call for open borders and make fun of people who dis you. Palin is using the money conservatives gave her through buying her books to fly Trump around in her private jet.
Nice edit, and true.
That^^!!
Lawyers/Career Politicians/Government employees have done NOTHING for conservatives or our conservative issues.
I’m supporting the LEADER.
Do you remember how Jack French Kemp smiled from ear to ear as “my friend Al Gore” complimented Kemp for Kemp’s civil rights record in their 1996 “debate”? “A voice of civility,” I believe Gore called it. Kemp wouldn’t do much to help Bob Dull in that debate. And Dull wouldn’t lay a hand that much on his friend, Bill Clinton.
Since last October, I have saying a Trump/Palin ticket would be good for us and America Cruz as AG.
Cruz attacks Alaskan values in 3, 2, 1...
I don’t think we’ll have amnesty per se but you could be right on the lack of conservative picks for SC. That’s why I really, really wanted the Trump/Cruz team - he would be a great asset but looks like that blew up.
lol! Point!
He’s a fraud. There was a thread here yesterday, “trump executive ambitions frighten some conservatives.”
In it, trump takes the attitude that the actions of the kenyan anti-christ are precedent for him to do similar, but in the other direction (so his cultists hope).
For seven long years, we actual constitutional conservatives have been complaining of the lawlessness and unconstitutionality of the anti-christ’s actions. That his executive orders have “changed” law unilaterally, usurping the legislator and becoming a quasi-king. That he has often violated the law as written. That he has not submitted international treaties for ratification, but has implemented them, anyway. That he has used the federal agencies of the government, especially the IRS, vindictively against his enemies.
Now we have trump, who, instead of repudiatig the kenyan anti-christ’s unconstitutional methods views them as PRECEDENTS TO BE USED!
But that’s not even the worst part. Read the posts to the thread by many posters, who don’t fear trump’s potential unconstitutional lawlessness, but ENDORSE IT! Many of them WANT someone to act “outside” the Constitution! They want a dictator. They don’t want a restoration of constitutional government, they want to revenge. They think they can have their dictator for a “little while.” It doesn’t work that way. If trump confirms the kenyan’s actions, we will not pull out of dictatorship. The Republic will be lost. The USA will continue, but age of the Republic will be dead.
Trump/Palin?
What is needed is someone who has no moral values.
What is needed is someone who will stop at nothing to achieve the destruction of the Uni-party.
I could not care less if it were Donald Trump, Joseph Stalin,or Hitler. Anyone of them would be better for this country than the alternative.
This is not the election year for reasoned thought, this is the election year for survival. It requires a total lack of civility, decorum, and/or sophistication.
It would be a childishly naive imp to believe any sort of standard candidate could possibly save the Republic.
We are at war with absolute evil, for the reconstruction to start, the existing Mob must be decimated, then destroyed.
So does what Cruz didn’t do in 2014 excuse the fact that Trump (a lifetime pro abort) gave $250,000 to the Clinton pay for play foundation?
Is that what we have become here on Free Republic?
Those voices inside a person's head don't count as a polls unless they have links.
Got Links?!
Yikes, that is crazy talk. You are seriously saying that you want another Hitler or Stalin (your words not mine) to come to power? You are nuts. May the Lord have mercy on us all.
