A POST-CHRISTIAN era has dawned in Britain, with most white Britons now saying they have no religion, according to a new survey.
The increase is most pronounced among those aged under 40 and comes amid claims that they feel alienated from the church’s conservative social values.
The poll, conducted by YouGov last month with a sample of 1,500 across the whole population, including recent immigrants, found almost half (46%) have no religion, up from 42% in February 2015 and from 37% in January 2013.
This rises to more than 50% among white British.

It sounds like Britian is at a point, where the majority of those who do follow any religion, are followers of Islam. Not good news for the future,.
This has been coming for decades. When I lived in Britain in the 80’s, I only knew a handful of people who were religious. All of my close in-laws are non-believers. I went to my local church one Sunday, a lovely medieval stone church, and there was only one other person sitting in the sanctuary for the service. I found that many people there think that believing or having faith is for the unintelligent and naive. Yes, Islam will take over as the dominant faith there, in the coming decades. When you are frequently ridiculed for your faith, as are Christians and Jews in Britain by those of ‘loftier’ place, you are more likely to rethink your position. I am a believer, but thankful I don’t have to live there anymore.
They have no religion. They have no guns. They have no defense against Islam. They are finished.
Does this mean they’ll gladly vote for the Muslim MP?

Could this possibly be, due to the refudiation of ‘the royals’ as the leaders of the Anglican Church?
I believe that with the end of WW2, the very faith of England was shaken.
There was not a cessation of ‘war’, just a re-characterization of it, from ‘open’ to ‘covert’.
Also, now, with the advent of nuclear war as a tremendous, or a faint reality, the idea that England has no defense against that, makes life a non sequetor.
