Friends of Tulip Siddiq, the MP leading the campaign to ban Donald Trump from Britain, have said she will be âtearingâ his reputation to âshredsâ during todayâs parliamentary debate on the proposed ban.

I appreciate seeing your post, RH.
I share your measure of the man, if one can call him that.
I do not understand how one could bring himself to sign on to a forum in a foreign land, and then spout insult and scorn not only at the citizen-members of that forum but also the country they live in.
Imagine the envy and grievance he must carry ‘round on a daily basis, like a thorn in his soft hands, like pus in a wound. Poisoning him slowly, through and through.
May I say that I appreciated even more your recollection of President Reagan. May those mighty, sunny days return to the country while we yet live.
ONE, that would be number ONE!!
Did I say America didn’t help us, I said America was one of the nations that helped. What is wrong with that statement?.
Millions of non-Americans and non-British fought and died to end the evils of Nazism and the Axis. Canadians, Indians, Aussies, Irish, black and white Africans, black Caribbeans, Kiwis, Burmese, HK Chinese, Malays, Asians, Free Europeans......without them, Britain and America could not have fought either war.
What did I say that’s so insulting?. I am free today because of the British men and women who died in two world wars, but also of Americans and others. BUT America didn’t help Britain alone. That’s fact. Anything else is insulting to the millions of people across the world who helped Britain and fought evil.
FO.

Are both of you suggesting that if I point out other peoples fought and died, that is insulting to America?. You have to be kidding. What IS insulting is boasts about speaking German and saving ass.
I am grateful for the millions of men and women from America who fought and those that died in two world wars. I truly am. I would never think of degrading their memory and sacrifice. I just wish people from the US would do the same with other dead. Because myths of saving ass and speakin German if not for us is an insult to millions of British and Commonwealth dead.
You want respect, then give it equally.

FO, boy
America did not enter either world war until later, in WW1, only months from the end. In WW2, Canada was our biggest war supplier. Not the US as many think. Canadian troops and ships fought from the earliest weeks of the war. Without the Empire, we wouldnt have had the material and resources to fight, from Malayan rubber to Australian tin. As well as millions of Empire/Commonwealth man and women.
Of course, American help was huge in both men and material. But there is a postwar US myth that only America helped us, ergo America ‘saved Britain’.
Britain saved itself. America and others helped it.
That dosent mean at all that I don’t genuinely respect the sacrifice of so many Americans. All I am trying to do is get British and other old soldiers their respect too. When I hear people talk about saving Britain etc, I am sure you can grasp how insulting that is. Imagine I aaid only Aussies and Kiwis fought in Vietnam. Or only Aussies, Kiwis, Canucks and Brits fought the Japanese.
Without Britain, the allies couldn’t have won either world war. Without allies, Britain couldn’t have won either world war. We needed each other.
Its not only insulting to the dead and the served, its very bad history.
London is the capital and most populous city of England and the United Kingdom, .... and it’s turning into an Islamic cesspool.
Wonder how much aid we give them. It would be a shame if the new prez said, “Fine, I will stay out, and so will the money of the US taxpayer.”
Are you kidding me?. This is Britain, not Bhutan!.
You think you give the UK aid???. Americans cannot be that dumb.
I’m of scottish blood too.
It’s a shame you didn’t break away.
The king worship is big with American libs, they love inbred dictators.
No, I proudly voted for Scotland to remain in the UK. A union that has served Scotland well. Besides a new Scotland would be so leftist it would be off the chart.
I am proud to be both Scottish and British.
His dingle berry’s are hanging out from his kilt, poor thing.
Looking at the trajectory, they will need a lot more than aid in a few years.
Why would an independent Scotland be leftwing? Ireland’s pretty much gone that way, now.
But then I just discovered Scottish comedian (now an American) Craig Ferguson on the internet. Incredibly funny stuff especially if the setting is Edinburgh (don’t know why).
His robot sidekick Geoff Peterson is a real hoot.
No personal offence, but you aren’t the first freeper to ask if the US sends the UK aid. A question I find jaw-dropping. As would any Brit.
Scotland since the 60s, and in certain areas since seemingly forever, has been socialist overall. And getting more left in recent years due to the SNP support. Although imo that bubble is bursting, and we are seeing more UKIP and Scots Tory support.
None taken.
