Did I say America didn’t help us, I said America was one of the nations that helped Britain.
What is wrong with that statement?.
Are both of you suggesting that if I point out other peoples fought and died, that is insulting to America?. You have to be kidding. What IS insulting is boasts about speaking German and saving ass.
I am grateful for the millions of men and women from America who fought and those that died in two world wars. I truly am. I would never think of degrading their memory and sacrifice. I just wish people from the US would do the same with other dead. Because myths of saving ass and speakin German if not for us is an insult to millions of British and Commonwealth dead.
You want respect, then give it equally.
Millions of non-Americans and non-British fought and died to end the evils of Nazism and the Axis. Canadians, Indians, Aussies, Irish, black and white Africans, black Caribbeans, Kiwis, Burmese, HK Chinese, Malays, Asians, Free Europeans......without them, Britain and America could not have fought either war.
What did I say that’s so insulting?. I am free today because of the British men and women who died in two world wars, but also of Americans and others. BUT America didn’t help Britain alone. That’s fact. Anything else is insulting to the millions of people across the world who helped Britain and fought evil.
