Ditto for me. BTW, “conman” is the most perfect description I’ve heard concerning Trump.

I would like to see it settled so we can end this. I thought Cruz eligible but his parents being on Canadian voter rolls is an issue. Maybe not a fatal one, but an issue for sure.

Trump just doing what Trump has intended to do all along....crucify the pub candidates so Hitlery can slide in....

for the record, I don't like Trump...but I will vote for him, not like so many freepers who were just too prissy to DO THE RIGHT THING and vote Romney....Trump would be better then Hitlery.....and Romney would have been 100x better then the bozo in the white hut.

I know it was a joke but Trump was a supporter of Cruz when he said it.

Donald Trump makes donation to Ted Cruz

If this isn't pre-arranged between Trump & Cruz, it sure is convenient for both of them.

The wheels of justice grind so very, very slowly sometimes.

The election is about a year away and so Cruz needs a judgement on his citizenship status NOW! because the dems will certainly raise a huge stink about it if it's not settled.

A 'spat' between Trump/Cruz is indeed a happy coincidence and can let someone with standing ask the courts to settle this NBC question.

To have Cruz as VP Trump must have this settled and in the past!

The 'dustup' real or false is no big deal.... everyone loves to see a couple kiss and make up so there are no problems when/if they come together as a ticket. Indeed, they can reconcile as soon as the court agrees to take up the NBC matter.

I really long for a Trump/Cruz ticket. Two men in highest office with real balls! What a refreshing thought that is after our long national disgrace!!!

This whole process would put Trump/Cruz in the media spotlight for months! You can't buy that kind of notoriety! All the other candidates, repub or dem, would fade into the background noise...lol

Trump and Cruz as reconciled political 'newlyweds' hahahahah! I love the idea :-) The public would be riveted to the spectacle of it all.

By statute, any Cuban citizen who sets foot on our shores, will be granted legal residency if requested. There was a lot of talk about this over the Elian Gonzalez controversy. Legally, Elian had the right to stay here. The issue was, as I recall, was ultimately one of custody, Elian’s Cuban father versus his American relatives.

Where was Trump when we needed him on the present illegal Alien occupier of the ‘White Hut’?

Ummm, asking for a birth certificate?

"One of the reasons I like Ted Cruz so much, is that he's not controversial." - Donald Trump

-----------------------

That was a joke. The crowd roared with laughter when he delivered the line.

Not according to Trump's next two sentences that backed up what he said. Thanks for your link.

TRUMP - "But the truth is he shouldn't be controversial...because what he is doing is right."

No, Donald, you’d just embarrass yourself.
*************************************
He already has. Trump knew damned well what Cruz meant by the term “NY values”, but he did the spin to invoke 9/11. Cruz had stated during the debate that he was referring to NYC and its liberal views on abortion, gun control, media, etc.

His mother’s name was on a preliminary roll. That apparently means an enumerator took down the name and address of a possible voter. They’ve said she never voted in a Canadian election and wasn’t a citizen there. But, if she had applied for citizenship, she could’ve retained her American citizenship anyway.

Rubio is not an anchor baby. His parents came here as legal immigrants and were granted permanent residency. They weren’t illegal aliens.
**************************
Jindal and Rubio both were anchor babies, as their parents were foreign nationals and not US citizens. Both sets of parents were in the country legally, but not citizens.

An anchor baby is born of illegal aliens on U.S. soil.

Ugh. I have, to this point, been saying that although Trump was seriously not my first choice, I would of course vote for him if he ended up being the GOP official candidate.

But the man’s a cad. He’ll say anything, smear anyone, to get elected, won’t he?

I may have to reconsider whether I would vote for him. What’s the real difference between a Democratic party dictator and a GOP dictator?

Perhaps The Donald will pursue the natural born citizen question on the merits of its precedent. That will require that they examine the questionable eligibility of Zer0 and if he avoided being called on it than Cruz can be too. They will, of course, have to examine the evidence, like Zero’s Hawaiian birth certificate to show evidence of his birth father and mother. Of course, I would love to have the hospital of birth examined. All that would have to be examined for the record and evidence that Zer0 failed to meet the same standard that Cruz will examined for. It should be just the can of worms that the popcorn is made for. MMMMmmmmm!

I would hope someone does give information about Eleanor’s possible Canadian citizenship. Did she apply for it with her husband, Rafael? If she did, when did she receive the official naturalization?

I for one would like the NBC issue to be settled once and for all with a clear, concise explanation.

Same here. Too much confusing BS on both sides. It comes down to two scenarios:

1. If a person is born of two citizen parents, either in the US or out of the US, they're considered NBC?

2. If a person is born of only one citizen parent they're only considered a NBC If they were born in the US?

Is that why libtards are so insistent on asserting 0bama was born in Hawaii, despite all of Zero's senate campaign literature that proudly claimed he was born in Kenya, because they know his daddy was not a US citizen?

Ted Cruz is considered ineligible because he wasn't born of two citizen parents AND outside the US?

And what about the claim that Bammy's mother wasn't old enough to pass her citizenship onto her spawn? In which case the Kenyan Usurper is as "ineligible" as Ted Cruz.

Can I get some clarification on all this?
