The headline reflects the moment my previous support for Ted Cruz (2011/2012), which evolved to concern about Senator Ted Cruz (2013/2014), turned to admitting Ted Cruz was a phoney.
The date was Saturday, July 19th, 2014 – I remember it vividly because I noted in my journal “last straw in providing Cruz any benefit of doubt – done“.

H1-B is old news and Cruz and Sessions have a Bill addressing that issue. Cruz no longer supports those visas.
Was Reagan pro gays in the military in the 50s, too?

Cruz responded to the many voters who approached him with the issue, many of them Freepers.
They wanted Cruz to lie to them, so now he’s giving them what they asked for.

This site, which I’ve been part of for a long time, has devolved into “Let’s trash the most conservative candidate we’ve had since Reagan, so we can elect Trump or Hillary”. I see a lot of new names here singing the same trash Cruz tune. Once the election is over, a majority will be gone and this will become a conservative site again. The question will be, what will the fall out of conservatives on this site be. What will be the future of FR?
This primary is beginning to remind me of the CA governors race ‘03 when the state lost the last opportunity it had to reverse course under circumstances similar to this.
I remember the obuma and Romney deal...I stayed off, stayed busy doing other things....
As it always has been, the future of FR will be what the posters make it.

The recent Canadian won’t be getting this vote.
It is not only a matter of changing his mind but more so about his character. The character of a human does not change and his support of abortion gives and indication of his moral character. Just as Hillary was proven a liar and dishonest back in the Watergate hearings, her character to this day is the same. You cannot change the spots on a leopard.
Trump’s intention to make us believe he has turned around on so many of his moral character beliefs is not credible. He is not what he says he is.
