So in calling Jeb Bush low energy again and again and again and again, Donald Trump is not dishing a random taunt at his opponent.

There was even a pathetic hit on Trump’s age. Cruz is punching way above his level. He already just about got KOed in a “youth and inexperience” moment when he doubled down on his NY values statement at the debate.
Both Cruz’s and Trump’s speeches are on the link on that thread. I watched both. Ted’s hit parts are sad, and the crowd response is weak compared to Trump’s. Ted hit on Trump for WAY longer than the 35 seconds Trump talked about Ted. Trump was direct and factual, Ted was not.

Ann Colter got one thing right about Trump. Trump isn’t a bully, the government has been the bully abusing the American people for 2 decades. Trump is the big kid who steps in and shoves the bully around and tells him to beat it.

Trump has built an empire doing what he said he was going to do and is generally very admired for all of his accomplishments.
It is just flat out irrational that as he gets into his latter years, his goal is to become one of history’s biggest pariah’s by lying to the American people and acting in a manner different than he says he would once he gets into office.
At the very least the chances of Trump being some kind of Trojan horse are trounced by the chances that he means what he says and he may be one of the countries most important and best leaders.
