I really hope so!
All he has to do is ask, even today. He is just as eligible for Cuban citizenship as he is US citizenship, same exact qualification.
His default citizenship is Canadian, all others had to be requested.

I second that! So many have had their mask ripped off their face, even those that have been heard and admired over the years. It truly is an upside down world in which we live.
This keeps up at this pace, there will be few Republican pundits that will be around. They will be fewer than the Demonrats who are found on the air waves these days. The only possible positive to come from this brouhaha is the fact that
1 They are no more intelligent than I when choosing their candidate or
2 They have been found out and judged, thus removing them from ever attempting to pull the wool over our eyes ever again.

Cruz is just as Cuban as he is American. Not NBC i n any way, shape or form. And he needs to be barr3d from further public office due to his obvious bias for unfettered immigration.

If you knew anything about passport law prior to 9-11, it would be that NO passport was needed for travel in N America and the Caribbean.
Please post your definitive proof that Rafael never held a Cuban passport, or applied for Cuban citizenship.

I find it deliciously ironic that Trump is trying to get Cruz kicked off the ballot for citizenship when even his own kids, under the same birther standards, aren’t natural born and couldn’t be president.
I don’t think Trump is trying to get Cruz kicked off the ballot, but even if he were he’s not allowing his family ties to influence his opinion on the matter. He wants it resolved before the election, that’s what he’s said all along.

That's great. But the point isn't who believes what. The point is that the Democrats AND Republican party AND media WILL make this an issue. It will dog Cruz until election day if he becomes the nominee. They will NOT let up. They will not cover for him like they covered for Obama. It's an issue served up on a gold platter for a protracted legal battle. And it's NOT a given that a court will find in his favor.
The professor who teaches NATURALIZATION LAW at Georgetown disagrees with you. He says it’s a valid concern.
