Donald Trump, the billionaire businessman and GOP presidential frontrunner, has taken off the gloves in his fight with Texas Sen. Ted Cruz  97% . What was friendly jabbing in the Fox Business Channel debate has gotten nasty as Trump now directly questions Cruz's eligibility to serve as president and the $1 million loan Cruz took from Goldman Sachs to jumpstart his Senate campaign.
"Goldman Sachs owns him, he will do anything they demand. Not much of a reformer!" Trump tweeted.
"Ted Cruz purposely, and illegally, did not list on his personal disclosure form personally guaranteed loans from banks," Trump added. "They own him!"
Trump is tying the citizenship accusation and the undisclosed loan question together. Trump is now floating the idea Cruz, who was born in Canada and a dual Canadian citizen until June of 2014, may have more undisclosed loans, possibly from Canadian banks. "Based on the fact that Ted Cruz was born in Canada and is therefore a "natural born Canadian," did he borrow unreported loans from C banks?" Trump asked.

Cruz is being just as nasty, just not as much press. Sort of a circular firing squad here.
It’d be interesting to know if Cruz ever paid back the loans. On the salary of a US Senator it wouldn’t have been easy.

Cruz was a Canadian and could run for Canadian Prime Minister up to 15 months ago. Did you know that?
He sounds like a lot of FReepers. Puny Human somethingorother, for example. Putting forth the dung that Cruz is ineligible, that Cruz is not as wealthy as Trump and therefore is “beholden” to others, some nut-job conspiracy theory that “Goldman Sachs” owns him. Or his wife. Or both.

Are you claiming that Cruz is not owned by Goldman Sachs? Did he ever pay back the loans?
When did Cruz go through the “naturalization” process? When did he participate in a “naturalization ceremony”?
If the answer is “never,” then is that he is either an already “naturalized citizen,” or he is an illegal immigrant.
