Republican front runner Donald Trump took aim at fellow GOP ticket contender Ted Cruz on Twitter.
During the Republican Presidential Debate, the Texas senator said that Trump had "New York values" as a way to say Trump had low morality.
Trump just responded with an EPIC tweet that showed first responders on 9/11.

Morality? First time I’ve heard that interpretation of NY values.
For most people, NY values are attributing to others outside of NY the myopic view held by New Yorkers who are clueless as to what happens in 98% of the country.

No one in their right mind would think for a second that Cruz was referring to the heroes of 911, the overwhelming majority of which are conservatives (policemen, firemen, construction workers, etc). I’ve lived in New York City all of my 50+ years and NYC is without doubt a liberal lunatic town.
They did have a second handle “BFAM”.
The response to the tweet was less than favorable.

Yeah, keep it up Trump. I’ve been in the 50/50 Trump-Cruz arena for months now, and defended you all over the place, but this is a sure-fire way to push me to Cruz.
After NYC jumped in bed with a Communist mayor and rallied to vote ‘for’ homo-marriage, I don’t have a whit of sympathy left for anything related to 9/11. But I do have a visceral disgust with NY media scumbags, which is only heightened when they pull a phony-outrage card right out of the lefty PC playbook. If Trump wants to join up with these worthless cretins, I’m off the reservation.
Someone clue Trump in that the 9/11 terror attack had little to do with New York values, and more to do with America responding.
No, the New York response to Sandy, where emergency crews were hindered and otherwise harassed for doing their jobs, that was New York values.
