Get used to it, RINOS. We’re gonna have a LEADER in the White House. Something we haven’t seen in some time.
It’s not going to be business as usual, that we know for sure!

This is the GOPe preferring Trump to Cruz.

Well, they better get aboard before the bus pulls out.

If Mr. Trump is constantly being accused of being more liberal than he is conservative, I don’t know why the GOPe would have an issue with him. He should be exactly what they want.

Final stage of grief: acceptance.

Only because Cruz just killed himself with his comments. Up till two weeks ago, NRO, GOPe press ALL supporting Cruz over Trump. They are resigned now that Cruz cannot win.

Sadly, we confirmed what we knew but didn’t acknowledge all these years. The GOPe represents the leftist takeover of the GOP. They are the enemy and Trump may break the hold on power they spent so many years building.

Do you really see it that way? I am a Trump supporter but I am worried that Cruz is winning the NY values argument, and is, in fact, playing it very well, and that Trump, instead of reminding people of what the Trump candidacy is all about and just ignoring the NY values BS, is allowing Cruz to sidetrack Trump into defending NY.
At first I thought Cruz was making a rookie mistake. Now I think that Cruz made a deft move. I hope that it is not enough to alter the dynamics of the race, and if Trump did what I suggest, stay focused on what his campaign is about, it would not alter the dynamics of the race. But I am worried at the moment that Trump has fallen into a trap laid by Cruz and does not yet even realize it.

In the end the GPOe will back him because they know a lot of their sock puppets will ride into Congress on his coattails.

They believe (rightly or wrongly) that Trump can be dealt with, it just won’t be the same as usual. They believe that Cruz will do what he says he will do, and they just can’t have that. Cruz is far more dangerous to the status quo.

I've seen multiple articles claiming that either Cruz, or Trump is now the acceptable candidate to the GOPE. I've seen none that say both are finding acceptance.
For the life of me, I can't figure out which one actually IS the preferred one from a GOPE stand point.
I'm thinking both camps want to put out that the other side has become acceptable in hopes of taking their opponents down a notch.
Fun stuff to watch.
