That being said, a politician should not mock people as regards their geographical location. There are conservatives and liberals everywhere. Obama learned this lesson when he mocked the “bitter clingersâ€. Obama didn’t mention a locale, but everyone knew he meant the south.
That’s a very good comparison. I’m curious what other NE states Cruz is writing off. Pennsylvania? Maine?

Exactly! What Cruz failed to grasp is how many NYers have relocated to states that are critical to win the election (ex: Florida).

Why would Ted give 2 $chitts about what some libtard no name writer from some junk NY publication thinks ? People in Iowa and S Carolina understand what he was talking about and that’s what matters. Drudge is running that piece simply because it bashes the opponent of the candidate he is in the tank for. Remember he did the same for Romney’s opponent (Newt) in 2012 by pushing the document dump and we ended up with four more years of Obama.

I am a New Yorker and I totally agree with Cruz. New York values are anti-American, anti-gun, pro-socialism, anti-God, anti-Life values.
New York (downstate NY really)has always been an idealogical sinkhole. It was perhaps the strongest bastion of Loyalists during the American Revolution.
Even most “conservatives” here are shaped by warped NY values. Many “Pro-gun” New Yorkers are terrified of open carry and Constitutional carry and support part or all the oppressive and unconstitutional Sullivan Act.
New York values are also about doing whatever you can get away with, rather than what is right. If a typical New Yorker can get away with cheating or stealing, they will. Integrity is for chumps and “ignorant rednecks” from the South.
Of course, not all New Yorkers are like this, but it is the culture of NY.
Are Goldman Sachs values anti-American? I see they just got fined $15 million yesterday. Please do tell.
