That being said, a politician should not mock people as regards their geographical location. There are conservatives and liberals everywhere. Obama learned this lesson when he mocked the “bitter clingersâ€. Obama didn’t mention a locale, but everyone knew he meant the south.
That’s a very good comparison. I’m curious what other NE states Cruz is writing off. Pennsylvania? Maine?
Cruz can win Pennsylvania. Once one gets outside the liberal pit of Philadelphia there’s an awful lot of conservatives. The rest of the northeast is filled with whacked out liberals who outnumber conservatives. The west cost is the same way, infested with liberals. The rest of the country minus perhaps Illinois is very winnable by Cruz.
I used to live both in NE PA and NJ. The number of former NYC people living in those areas would boggle your mind. Not to mention FL.
