Playing Russian roulette isn’t fighting back Pal.
Well, you go from losing a reasoned argument into platitudes and YOUR “party lines”.
Rots a Ruck
People like you, with your faux outrage at the perceived insult at NYC, know what Cruz was talking about: the liberal elitists and media from NYC who consider the rubes in fly-over country unworthy to breathe their hallowed air. No one, absolutely NO ONE is questioning the bravery of NYC firefighters or police and you know that. And firefighters from my hometown went to NYC to help, also. To use the deaths of these brave men as a campaign tool is outrageous. Remember when Bush used footage of 9/11 in a campaign ad? People like you went rabid. How dare he use NYC for his dirty political devices!!
Yes dear, I probably know NY history better than you. But here is a newsflash: American history does not stop at Manhattan’s borders. And it didn’t begin there, either. So stop having the vapors.
Oh don’t mention it. Hope you managed to flail your way out of your pity pool.
From what I heard and read about Senator Tom Cotton, I think he should be considered for VP. That is if the
person who wins the primary is looking for someone that
was not running against him in the primary.

You know, I DID know that!
Could not believe he brought it up AGAIN in his closing speech!
I’m sure we have not heard the last of this from Son of Mailman.
Oh yeah, my 1999 Subaru is covered in Bernie for President stickers....
Start drafting an excuse as to why you call him by his unused given name. I know it’s because it sounds a lot more Spanish than “Ted” and you want to push the idea that Senator Cruz isn’t “American” enough. You sicken me.
central_va, somehow you got under my radar screen. I’ve tangled with you before. You are on my do not reply list with the comment: “another guy who goes off point, off track, gets pissed, and attacks when heâs unable to win a discussion or debate”
True to form, you’ve flown off the track into Never Never Land.
See ya.
Another satisfied customer.
Your most welcome RitaOK. Hopefully Jedi will stick to the known facts. I am sure there is more but it is really Cruz’s own problem he created, maybe he got bad advise.
My biggest problem with Cruz is he gives answers that don’t answer the questions being asked of him. Every time he does that he goes down in my support for him. In the end I don’t believe it will matter because Trump’s support is just too large for Ted to overcome.
How do American manufactures and those that have completely left the US and would contemplate coming back, compete with $0.17 cents an hr wages in China?
Tell us how when Unions power is curtailed and unnecessary govt regulations are removed and we have this Free Market you say will fix everything, American manufactures can compete with Chinese manufactures that pay their workers a small fraction what American workers get? Do you think Americans will and should work for less than a dollar an hr? What wage rate here in America brings back manufacturing? Numbers please.
There is not a free market economy because we allow the Chinese, India and Mexico and others to dump their cheap goods here while it is impossible to produce those same goods here unless Americans are willing to work for under a dollar an hr. Tariffs can force a fair market economy which imo is much freer than what we have now. Your theory is good but fails to address real world markets we live in.
I think the comment about Trump’s mother was over the top. It turned a lot of people off — especially women.
The interesting thing to me is that we have liberals seated on the Supreme Court. It will be they who are most likely to side with Cruz, whereas Scalia represents the originalist interpretation of the Constitution, and throughout Cruz’ career, so has Ted.
Until now.
TRUMP was pointing this out without going into detail when he shrewdly brought up the names of Lawrence Tribe, which qued the media to seek out Tribe’s complaint with Cruz’ new found “living interpretation” surfacing when it suits his own need. Tribe called Cruz a “hypocrite”. Tribe was immediately heard right after the debate, on a LIVE interview with Chris Matthews!
He explained the Natural Born Citizenship as originally constituted by the Founders is actually now an “open question”. He said that NBC, back then, had nothing to do with birth “right”, so much as “ties to the land” (nature), back in 1822, or whenever. There is Cruz born with no ties geographically, because he was born in another country, to parents who had no ties to the “land” and possessed citizenship in Canada.
The parents were not serving American interests, as say in those in the military, they were not stationed on US Territory, or an embassy, or military base, nor serving the US government, but were in Canada on their own free will.
Tribe said any Secretary of State in the US would have standing even NOW to question his status and remove him from the ballot in their respective state until the question was adjudicated in the SC.
Worse, he said, is that because NBC is an “open question” in the Constitution the Justices would have a hard time deciding because of past precedents that are conflicting. Since the 60’s, the original sparse definition of NBC in the Constitution has been adjudicated completely more liberally than it was ever before, prior to the sixties.
A ROYAL mess! Even in the courts! Yikes.
Yep yikes is right! Cruz has stepped in it. Now we get to see if he up the job of being a leader or just good at remembering scripts.
Yes, it really is terrible and one more example of Congress not taking care of business, or the Constitution, for decades. Complete FAIL.
Same with decades of illegal invasion against a sovereign nation. They are all derelict and need to be thrown out on their face. Hard!
You appear to be the one having vapors. ;-)
Quick, Jeems, my smelling salts! : )
The smell is not "New York values." That's true. "New York values" are the values of the brave New York firemen whose charred and crushed dead bodies created that smell.
