Can we trust Hillary or Obama? Who can we trust in this race? Someone has to be better than what we have now.
Trump hit it out of the park with his “blind trust” question. Gave him the opportunity to point out his fantastic children in the audience.
Sorry got carried away you are not an idiot.
Once upon a time, FReerepublic was âConservativeâ. That weâve gone so far out there that a populist wins such huge support HERE demonstrates where America is headed....
BTW, Isn’t this supposed to be a thread about the DEBATES???
No question who the leader is on the podium or who understands economics the best.
Trump stands head and shoulders above the others. When Cruz launches into his repartee, I lose interest. I was intrigued with his intellect early on, but it is wearing a bit thin now.
People come into New York City in the droves every year. Young people in search of everything that this city can provide - jobs, wealth, culture, food, sports, you name it. Retired people from around the country pull up stakes, sell the big house and buy an apartment on the upper east side. There’s a wonderful Sondheim song called “Another Hundred People Just Got Off of the Train.” You should listen to it.
“Competence” is smoking the field. His name is TRUMP. He has no use for Cruz’ political weeds.
TRUMP-Sessions, 2016
(If we just must have a pol for VP.)
TRUMP, 2016
He reminded me of a pastor reading his sermons.
Cruz is scripted and Trump is sincere. Cruz is book smart which is great for the college debate team and yapping on the Senate floor. Not so good for getting things done.
I wish every one in the world watching this could see it for what it is.
I’m laughing at the dunce, trained monkey, audience responses - do they even know how stupid they sound.
If I was enjoying a leaning scotch and water as the crowd hustled in, I’d have to leave for fear of offending everyone.
20% 39 % whatever, you get the point.. I think some of you Trumpsters just want to be unreasonable
New York is run by fag libs thats the truth, same in California Boston Road Island etc
NY values California values, they are majority anti Christian abortionist homos for the most part, not even debatable
yes its tough for the 20-40 % that are not, I hear you
NY values was a perfect description and the people wanting to argue this are just being (to borrow from Trump) stupid
So overall, I hate to say it, but IMHO Chris Christie won the debate SO FAR but that changes nothing.
I am still for Trump and Cruz who both did well.
However, I do think Cruz hurt himself in the “North” as well as in California with the New York Values thing.
Terrible to go for that, I know the moderator asked the question, but even before the debate some of the folks on FOX said that would be a bad move by Cruz and even gave the Trump response before he even responded. So it should have been an easy call to NOT go there for Cruz and simply make one of those great jokes of his. But he did go there.
Not good. Like I say, the first two states ARE very important in this election, different from the past.
This might have turned off some voters in a big way from the base. But he will come out of it ok. But these things tend to cause “long memories”.
I like Trump saying “Make America RICH Again”.
That sounds good to me.
The final part of this debate is now coming.
I like Carson’s tax plan is excellent! - -TRUMP / CARSON 2016 - -
Haven’t reached that point yet...but why is Rubio talking so FAST? His words fall over one another.
Tribe flip flopped on NBC. He co-wrote an article saying McCain was a NBC. Then he wrote an article last week saying, well if we use Cruz’s strict constructionist / original intent ideology, he’s not a NBC. Tribe was trolling.
Sure did!!!
It will work. One writing mechanism is to introduce smells, taste, touch to bring the reader into the story, it puts them in the scene. Trump just used the sense of smell to bring people into that scene.
Thanks!

Trump is so authentic.
And he is a patriot.
Trump LOVES this country and wants to help our country on all levels.
Towards the end here, I’m forgetting Cruz is even here.
