Looks like Levin is converting true original meaning and definition of Natural Born Citizen (born to two married citizen parents on American soil) to Citizen (you pick what suits you). What’s next, test tube artificially inseminated born in the ambulance born “natural citizen”?
Yeah! Constitution and laws need to be modified to suit current screw-ups.

Syrian Refugees
On September 8, 2015, Trump said the following about the Syrian refugees: “I hate the concept of it, but on a humanitarian basis of what’s happening, you have to.” Just a day later he partially reversed course:
I think we should help, but I think we should be very careful because frankly, we have very big problems. We’re not gonna have a country if we don’t start getting smart.
Then he went on to promote a ban on Muslim immigration. This proposal set off an imbroglio within the political world that completely washed away the fact that Trump’s first thoughts were to follow the groupthink.
Conservatives need to know if Donald Trump is really the man who will put Americans first and demolish the “dummies” in Washington or if his lack of a coherent philosophy will lead him to reflexively parrot the very politically correct talking points he so vehemently assails and yet has so often adopted. Is Trump who we think he is on immigration or is he pragmatically trying to tap into a frustration to win the primary with a plan to revert to his original talking points after winning?
Trump didn’t actually reverse himself, he was trying to talk around Bill O’Reilly and was cut off. We didn’t even get to what “we have to” do. He didn’t say he would bring them here. That is the usual thing with the Bill O’Reilly show. The next day follow up if you read Trump’s full statement he qualified it with we should “possibly” help, “possibly”, but we have so many problems we need to fix.” I never heard Trump say we should bring them here. Mark is a special pleader for Ted Cruz and uses bad information against Trump. It is very clear there was no change in Trump’s immigration stance. If it was not for Trump, we wouldn’t even be talking about immigration.
They are acting like the NY Slimes when they do not tell us who wrote the hit piece.

Yes, I wish Mark would just get it over with and make the endorsement as his bias is showing in pretty much all he says.
Sad. Used to look forward to his show and with the exception of “Men in Black” bought all his books including Proverbs for Kids—now can hardly stand to listen :(
Wow. Imagine that: a gutsy, hardliner conservative endorsing the only conservative running for president.
If Trump had been born in Canada, the child of a Cuban refugee and an American mother, and then claimed he didn’t know he was a Canadian citizen till a couple years ago, and then decided to renounce that Canadian citizenship at the age of 44 when he decided to run for president, Levin would be saying Trump was not a US citizen and therefore ineligible to run for president. The reason? Levin does not consider Trump a “conservative” and that trumps everything in Levin’s world.
If Cruz had been born in Texas and Levin considered him a “liberal”, Levin wouldn’t give him the time of the day.
Cruz could have been born on Mars, the child of Martians, and Levin would say he was eligible for the office, as long as Martian Cruz was a “conservative”.
