White House chief of staff Denis McDonough pushed back against the notion his president is played out in the wake of his last State of the Union address, promising "audacious executive action" in Barack Obama’s final year in office.

Yeah, I think Obama is reaching for ludicrous speed with his executive orders.
Bottom line is that Obama is merely posing as engaged and not the lame duck that he is. Obama can issue all the executive orders he wants from now until January 20, 2017 and it won’t mean jack squat.
