Trump reeks of desperation.

To Trump: If Cruz is no threat to him, he has legal standing to run. If Cruz is a threat to him, he should drop out.

Trump can't win against Cruz on merit, Trump's only play is to try to get him disqualified.

But...but...I thought Trump was just answering a question that a reporter brought up, and that he wasn’t really attacking Cruz?

Why do people not see that Trump is using the same Alinsky tactics that Dems use? Why can’t people see his true colors?

What needs to happen to get people to understand that Trump is NO conservative? That he makes even Romney, look Conservative?

So if the Mouth is so sure Cruz is not qualified to run why doesn’t the fool file a suit himself?

Come on Donald, quit your bitching put your money where your mouth is...

See how that works for you.

Trump’s campaign is in the gutter, this is what a pathetic hack liberal exposing himself chases after. Watch... more and more will leave him for Ted Cruz who is expanding his coalition every day.

It’s just politics. Trump could care less about whether Cruz is a “Natural Born Citizen” or not.

Trump does believe that he is within striking distance of taking first in the Iowa caucuses from Cruz, and believes that if he takes first, he will cruise to the nomination.

These attacks are designed to drive down Cruz’s support. All he has to do to do that is raise doubts.

These attacks aren’t desperate. They are smart, cynical politics. You know, the thing Trump is supposedly running against.

This line of attack makes no sense to me. What Cruz supporter will change their mind because of this?

Shows that Trump has no clue that there have been TONS of folks that have first choice and second choice, of Trump/Cruz or Cruz/Trump, and that looking ahead, if his is #1, he needs to clump together with the support of those that have Cruz as #1.

He has lost this one.

If it is not an issue, then what are you worried about?

Just ignore it.

He’s right. Dems WILL sue.

And in the words of one of my favorite talk shows, “when you’re a DEMOCRAT, it’s JUST DIFFERENT!”

Judges and legal scholars who would not have given the time of day to Obama Birtherism will suddenly decide this is a critical issue for the Republic. I can easily see a Federal Injunction being issued to stop Ted from taking the oath.

My evidence is the flip-flop on judicial nominee filibusters that occurred between the Gang of Eight and Harry Reid. These people are shameless about changing the rules to their benefit.

Every day Trump ups his douchebag cred. Acts even more like a Dem now than he did three years ago when he officially was one.

Hopefully, the next wonderboy Republican heiress will be less of an unbearable hump.

Cruz is my favorite and I have never criticized Trump as he is my second choice, but it may be that those who have said Trump would eventually implode might have been right.

Trump was doing great by sticking to the most important issues. He should drop the issue of Cruz’ qualifictions and get back to what he was doing best.

Trump must believe that Cruz is gaining a lot of traction.

By Victor Morton - The Washington Times - Thursday, January 7, 2016

A Democratic member of the U.S. House vowed Thursday to file a lawsuit challenging Sen. Ted Cruz’s Constitutional eligibility to become president.

Rep. Alan Grayson, Florida Democrat, said the issue is not political but Constitutional and that he will file a suit “if and when he becomes the nominee and tries to qualify for the ballot” in November.

Why would the party care anyway? If it comes out president-elect Cruz is not qualified, then the party's veep-elect takes the office. The party has nothing to lose by running a person who is fact unqualified. While I have an opinion on it, I'm not saying Cruz is in fact not qualified, here. Just saying why the party wouldn't care one way or the other. Winning party gets the office, unless neither pres-elect nor veep-elect is qualified.
