In the 2016 GOP primaries, Donald Trump has positioned himself as a hardliner on immigration. The general consensus is that no one is tougher on illegal aliens than Donald Trump. But is that actually the case?
While Trump would work diligently to deport all illegal immigrants-he has even proposed creating a “deportation forceâ€-most would be surprised to learn that he would welcome the non-violent, “good†ones back in on an expedited basis. An expedited basis means line-cutting, and line-cutting means amnesty.

The touchback concept is an old idea, but it serves to have the illegals out of country while their case for reinstatement is being evaluated.
What I like about it, is the concept of judgement. Simply touch Mexican soil and come back is not the concept. What has to happen is the family must be evaluated as being in the interest of the USA in order to return to their USA residence with a legal residency card.
If Redstate does not get this, shame on them, they are usually smart enough to figure these things out without help.

3. declare that it is an old position: "Dude, that was like two months ago."

Once the illegals are kicked out, why would you ever let law breakers back in for any reason? Kick them out. Keep them out. Put a halt on legal immigration as well.
