President Obama once offered to give Vice President Biden money to help his family during his son's battle with cancer, the vice president said Monday while discussing the high cost of cancer treatment.
[Snip]
When the vice president mentioned the possibility [of Beau selling his house to pay for cancer treatments] to Obama during one of their weekly lunches, the president "got up and he said, 'don't sell that house. Promise me you won't sell the house,'" Biden recalled during an interview with CNN.
"He said, 'I'll give you the money. Whatever you need, I'll give you the money. Don't, Joe - promise me. Promise me,'" Biden continued. "I said, 'I don't think we're going to have to anyway.' He said, 'promise me.'"

Since when has Biden been strapped for cash? It’s not like he’s a poor starving single mother with 5 kids from the hood. He has plenty of money.

Umm wasn’t Beau on the gold plated, cadillac health plan that all gov’t employees get? I would think there would be nothing but $1 copays as far as the eye can see.
And didn’t Obozocare put an end to medical caused financial destitution? /s

This story is baloney. As a single mother who works for a large corporation, I am fortunate in having excellent medical coverage. My firm offers many options for health insurance and I always choose the plan that costs me the most money out of every paycheck â because I know that that will be the best plan. My son has a serious, chronic condition and was hospitalized six times during 2015, with each stay lasting at least two weeks. My medical insurance covered about 95% of the hospital expenses and I am working on settling with the hospital for the remaining few thousand dollars I owe. Joe Bidens son worked for the government, which means he had excellent medical insurance. Even if some expenses weren't covered directly, it will take years for hospitals to put up a fight to be paid what they weren't paid by the insurance company. In any case, there is no reason Beau Biden would have had to sell his house â unless he had debts that had nothing to do with his illness. And there is REALLY no reason Joe Biden would have had to sell his house because he would not have been liable for any of his adult son's debts.

“Promise me you won’t sell the house”
That what Obama told that realtor in Dubai.

Wasn’t his son a politician? I would think he would have had very fine healthcare.
