What if one of these anchor babies with no American parent wants to run for president? They are automatic American citizens. Why does Trump keep pushing this? I really don’t like it. I wish someone would bring up that bio that Obama himself wrote that stated he was born in Kenya. It was never discussed by the media and Briebart died I think, shortly before it was produced. Obama lied then or he is still lying. No one talks about it.

I am with you on that. The Breitbart article about Obama being "born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii" went up on the internet on May 17, 2012, a couple of months after Andrew Breitbart's sudden (and perhaps suspicious) death on March 1, 2012. The literary agency that produced the booklet that made the born in Kenya claim explained it as a mere fact checking error but that doesn't pass the laugh test. The "facts" in the bio could ONLY have come from Obama. Unfortunately, there was and continues to be no functioning political opposition or watchdog media to force Obama explain this smoking gun.

No one talks about Obama's situation, and it really isn't as extreme as Cruz's. That's because Obama laid his claim on having been born in the USA and having a US citizen mother. The Republican elite didn't want to contest that Obama is born in the US, Obama produced a birth certificate, and he got a "pass". It's a terrible precedent. It opened a door that shouldn't be open.

But now Cruz's situation brings it one step further. He isn't even born it the US. Even Obama's supporters pretty much acknowledged that if he wasn't born in the US, he would not have been eligible.

So Obama opened the door. Cruz would bust the door off its hinges. I don't know if Cruz is being used here or if he's complicit, but weakening rules for presidential eligibility (instead of undoing the damage Obama's presidency has done to them) is not a step that keeps our country independent and uncompromised in the future.

For one, Anchor babies never have American citizen parents.
Second, Trump’s lawyers have determined that anchor babies born to illegal parents or temporary visa parents are not automatically US citizens.

Which is why it is all the more important For Cruz to go before SCOTUS and get a official ruling.
