Survey Sponsor: American Research Group, Inc.
The American Research Group has been conducting surveys of voters since 1985.
Sample Size: 600 completed telephone interviews among a random sample of likely Republican primary voters living in New Hampshire (340 Republicans and 260 undeclared voters (independents)).
Sample Dates: January 7-10, 2016
Margin of Error: ± 4 percentage points, 95% of the time, on questions where opinion is evenly split.
Question Wording:
If the 2016 Republican presidential preference primary were being held today between (names rotated) Jeb Bush, Ben Carson, Chris Christie, Ted Cruz, Carly Fiorina, Jim Gilmore, Mike Huckabee, John Kasich, Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, Rick Santorum, and Donald Trump, for whom would you vote?
Among "definite" voters the slippage is more pronounced=--
Tr 23 Rub16 Kas 15 Cruz 9
I can understand the appeal of Trump, Rubio & Cruz (and some others). Besides fellow spastics, who likes Kasich? He comes off like he needs a visit from a team of doctors.
Do they run this poll every 15 minutes? Seems like it.
Kasich at 14%?
I am dubious of that. He hasn’t shown double digits since he entered the race.
Know any thing about this one.?
Kasich and Rubes at 31%. I think it’s pretty pointless for a conservative to mess with trying to get NH’s 23 delegates.
Rubio & Kasich in top 3?
Poll sounds fishy to me - another GOP-E attempt to weaken Trump with phony results.
Oh, I don’t know if it’s fishy— it’s an ARG poll.
Will be on @FallonTonight with @JimmyFallon on @NBC at 11:35pmE. Enjoy! #Trump2016 pic.twitter.com/Z9zbKfXJqb— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 11, 2016
Thanks for the head’s up.
Thanks Sister Long for Heads Up.
Nothing, but KaSICKO’s numbers aren’t believable.
Vin, a lot of us were worried about you. Glad you are ok.
Thanks for the ping.
I don’t believe this for a second.
The Sanctimonious One and the Worm at 16 and 15!?
That is pure Bovine Scatology!
ARG is typically Dem friendly so I believe Trump is low in this poll. There have been 6 other polls out of NH in the last 5 days which have Trump up by 20, 18, 18, 16 and 14, the 14 being PPP which is a Democrat firm. He’s averaging about 30 in the other polls, so the 25 here is low.
Interesting note...RCP of course has the ARG poll up for NH but not for Iowa.
I was in NH a few weeks ago, before Christmas, and there seemed to be a lot of enthusiasm for Chris Christie. Some were speculating he’d finish 2nd up there - behind Trump. I saw no enthusiasm whatsoever for Kasich, I have no idea where that is coming from.
Unfortunately, Kasich really is at about 14..that’s his average. Trump needs to spend a few days laying waste to Rubio and Kasich...The people of NH are a funny lot...They fancy themselves pragmatic and a lot of them will find Kasich’s message (as pathetic as it is) appealing.
;-)
Will be a good break from the foosball game :)
Shall we all meet on the live thread to.share the laughs
