President Obama's spokesman said Monday that White House officials are "wondering" if a gunman's attack on a Philadelphia police officer was an act of terrorism, and said the White House views the shooting as another reason for gun control.

Whether the shooting of Officer Jesse Hartnett was an act of terrorism "is something we're all wondering right now," said White House press secretary Josh Earnest, adding that White House officials have been in contact with Philadelphia authorities.

Alleged gunman Edward Archer, 30, told police he was motivated by the Islamic State to shoot the officer.

..an act of terrorism "is something we're all wondering right now,"

Either way, Mr. Earnest said, the case demonstrates the need for stricter gun laws such as expanded background checks to "keep guns out of the hands of people like him."

And the media will dutifully report the lies.

And yet immediately after the Charleston shooting it was never questioned if the shooter was a white supremacist. You can't make this mess up.

This level of dishonesty is just insulting. This administration just assumes all Americans are as stupid as the ones who voted for Obama.

Stricter gun laws. Yup, that what would have helped here. For instance, they really should make it illegal to steal a gun from a police officer. Oh, wait..

The act of being a democrat should be enough to prove mental illness in most courtrooms across America.

Well, we're informed that it had nothing to do with Islam and no one in the room thinks that, at least according to the Philadelphia mayor.

As the fool mayor babbled on, it was fun to watch the black police officer over the mayor's left shoulder (the same one who had just given up the mike). He just couldn't hide the look of incredulity on his face.

And that's what pisses me off the most.

I think he meant it more as a general observation.

Do you think it doesn't apply here?

Yep. If the Minister of Current Truth declares it ‘random workplace violence’, that’s what it is.
