I’d like to believe they will vote against unions.

Then again, I was lead to believe they’d vote against fag marriage and against obamacare.

Communities are getting clobbered with unions and the big fat, unwarranted, government pensions and benefits.

When they go to the bargaining table, the teachers are represented by the unions and the DemocRats basically represent themselves because the unions spend the members’ money to get them elected. The only ones at the bargaining table not represented are the people paying the taxes.

What is wrong with this picture?

With Roberts on court, not counting on any win for the good guys. Will believe it when I see it.

If the public employees want a union, fine. Just make it so they have to negotiate with the people who REALLY pay for their wages and benefits - the taxpayers. Put their contracts on the ballot and let’s see how the voters feel about it.

When I was working we had to negotiate with the company who paid us.

With this Supreme Court, including Roberts and Kennedy, forcing people to pay for stuff they don’t want, like Obamacare taxes and union dues and their Kelo properties, is their belief.

Don’t count on this Court to help the people on this one.

Yep...they’re poised to vote against the unions. That’s why the NYT published the article. To give the unions time to blackmail Roberts.

I remember when the government employees were not required to pay dues in Wisconsin, something like 70% opted out.

If the SC allows employees to opt out in California it will be more like 90% opting out. Great news!

Good. Especially the public ones. Coolidge and Reagan had it right.
