But yet Keith Richards is still alive and kicking.

Rest in Peace David,
I remember years ago during a memorial concert when he knelt down on stage and recited the lords prayer, class act,

I stumbled across these studio demos of Bowie and Stevie Ray Vaughn running through the tracks they would record for Let’s Dance as well as other Bowie songs (and a Velvet Underground song). As I understand it, there is a live show they played together on tape as well.

Loved his early stuff Like "Rebel Rebel" & "Moonage Daydream." However the duet he did with Tina Turner in the 198os Called Tonight was very nice and a sweet song. RIP David Bowie. He is with All The Young Dudes.

Not a big fan but I recognize the loss of a music icon. Memory eternal.

Wow that’s interesting, I was watching a video he released a few weeks ago, Blackstar, and I remember thinking it was about death, it had lyrics mentioning death and angels. Wow brilliant guy, very bizarre song but still he got the message through

What a great place to have seen Bowie. That place hosted lots of greats, everyone from John Philip Sousa to Rachmaninoff to Elvis to Ray Charles to BB King to Dylan to David Bowie. But perhaps the most interesting thing to me about Ellis was that before it actually opened, it hosted the United Confederate Veterans convention. They were given metal badges that had General Forrest on them. Last year the racist liberal idiots running Memphis decided the General’s statue has to go.

Is that bizarre or what? And he still drinks and chain smokes Marlboro reds as well, I mean literally chain smokes, he will light up one and a few minutes later light up another. The guy is not human.

Bowie said in 1972 that he was gay.
Another gay with a couple decades cut off his life.

Didn't love everything he did but the stuff I liked, I loved. Young Americans, great song.
